Spooktacular Birthday Cake Card!
Larissa here today to share a spooktacular Halloween birthday card!! I'm using several die sets to create a personalized birthday cake and I LOVE how it turned out!! I hope this will INSPIRE you to create some personalized birthday cakes for your next project!!
Halloween Accessories Die Set
Frames & Flags Die Set
Basic Frames Die Set
Cake Builder Die Set
Halloween Basics Paper Pack
Birthday Greetings Stamp Set
I started by die cutting the Frames & Tags Die Set from some Black Glitter Cardstock and then I created the card panel by die cutting some white cardstock using the Basic Frames Die Set!! I Inked the Background using some Salvaged Patina and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks!! Then I stamped and embossed the "Make a Wish" sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set using VersaFine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint splatters!!
Next, I die cut the pieces for my Halloween cake using the Cake Builder Die Set. Then I die cut the bats from the Halloween Accessories Die Set from some white cardstock and Inked with some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink. I layered them onto the cake layers and I LOVE the way they line up with the design!!
I wanted to create a FUN light-up element so I die cut the Jack-O-Lantern also from the Halloween Accessories Die Set and backed it with some gold vellum!! I Then used my punch to create a hole in the card and then I adhered the Pear Blossom Press One Light to the back of the card panel!!
I added some foam tape to the back of the panel!! Then I adhered the panel to the frame and adhered it to the cardbase!! I adhered the cake to the card panel using some more foam tape for some dimension and I LOVE how it turned out!!
I finished off the design by adhering some of the star confetti in both holographic and black and it adds the perfect touch of sparkle and shine!!
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you have a FABULOUS WEEK!!
