Rain or Shine Card by Samantha Mann

Rain or Shine Card by Samantha Mann | Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set, Newton's Rain Boots Stamp Set, Raindrops Stencil and Frames & Tags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Rain or Shine!

Today we are brightening up a rainy day with this beautiful card by Samantha!

To create this cheerful card,  Samantha started by coloring the kitty with the umbrella from our Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set. She colored the umbrella in rainbow colors and added cute pink cheeks and white gel pen accents to the coloring. The image was cut out using the coordinating Newton's Rainy Day Die Set. our So cute!

She decided that her card would need more ducks so she stamped and colored the two more duckies from our Newton's Rain Boots Stamp Set and cut them out with the coordinating Newton's Rain Boots Die Set

From Meow to You Card by Ellen Haxelmans

From Meow to You Card by Ellen Haxelmans | Newton's Gift Stamp Set, Circle Frames Die Set and Petite Paw Prints and Hearts Stencils by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

From Meow to You!

Today Ellen has created a kitty themed card that is perfect for spring!

This card features that cute kitty popping out of the box from our Newton's Gift Stamp Set. This fun design features a blank tag on the front of the gift box, making it easy to customize the image for any occasion! Although many of the sentiments are holiday themed, Ellen choose "from MEOW to you" and colored the image in spring colors for this card today!

She framed the image of the kitty with two layers of circles that were cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set. For the scalloped circle she used a pretty plaid print from our Love & Chocolate Paper Pad and for the stitched circle she added blue ink blending and tiny blue hearts using our Petite Hearts Stencil. She also added grass using our Land Borders Die Set and the frog and insects from our Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set and Newton's Blooms Stamp Set to set the scene.  Then she layered everything over a green background, stenciled with tiny paw prints using our Petite Paw Prints Stencil. So cute!

I'm here for you...

Today we are sharing a sweet encouragement card by Naki! Sometimes it's hard to know what to say when a friend or family member is having a hard time, but this card by Naki is sure to touch their heart! She started by coloring the cut image of the kitty holding the umbrella for the ducky from our Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set. She stamped the image with a light colored ink and colored it with soft edges, adding stripes to the kitty and the inside of the umbrella. She cut the image out using our Newton's Rainy Day Die Set. For the card base she created a rainy sky, adding in raindrops over her blue sky using the raindrop stamp from our Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set and embossing them with a shiny embossing powder.  She also added a layer of vellum clouds along the top using our Sky Borders Die Set.
