Here's what I created:

2018 National Coffee Day Blog Hop | Coffee Card by Jennifer Jackson using Coffee & Wine Stamp Sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
For my first card I used our Coffee & Wine Stamp Set to create this fun watercolor card. I splashed some purple and brown distress inks on a watercolor panel to represent coffee and wine splatters. Then I stamped the big sentiment in black and added the little mug and wine bottle at the bottom. I used a paint brush and some distress inks to color in the images. Then I used the fishtail border from our Fancy Edges Tag Die to cut the bottom.
2018 National Coffee Day Blog Hop | Coffee Card by Jennifer Jackson using Coffee & Wine Stamp Sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
For the background I stamped all the small images from the set onto a piece of kraft cardstock in a random pattern with brown ink to create a nice tonal background. I added a little strip of washi tape up the side and mounted the whole thing on a dark brown card base.
2018 National Coffee Day Blog Hop | Sloth and Coffee Card by Jennifer Jackson using Slothy Coffee Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
For my second card I used that cute sloth from our Slothy Coffee Stamp Set. I stamped and colored him with copics and cut him out using the coordinating Slothy Coffee Die Set. Then I decided he needed more coffee so I pulled out our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set and stamped a few coffee mugs from that set. I colored those with copics too and cut them out using the coordinating Newton Loves Coffee Die Set.

Then I assembled my card, adding the sentiment from the Slothy Coffee Stamp Set, embossed in white on brown circle. I added a teal scalloped border using our Sky Borders Die Set. I also added some coffee beans in the background panel from our Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set. A bit of twine gives it a finishing touch!

I hope you enjoyed these two fun coffee cards today!

Happy Thanksgiving Camper Card by Amanda Bodine

Happy Thanksgiving Camper Card by Amanda Bodine | Cozy Campers and Newton's Thanksgiving Stamp Sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Thanksgiving Camper Card!

Today we are sharing a gorgeous thanksgiving camper card by Amanda! She used the adorable camper from our Cozy Campers Stamp Set and colored the camper with copics using yummy Fall colors and a pop of teal! Then she cut it out using the coordinating Cozy Campers Die Set. She surrounded the camper with cut pumpkins from our Newton's Thanksgiving Stamp Set, also using the Newton's Thanksgiving Die Set to cut them out. For her scene she used our Land Borders Die Set to create a hill and added some clouds using our Cloudy Sky Stencil. She added the thanksgiving sentiment from the Newton's Thanksgiving Stamp Set onto the sky. This scene is so cozy and inviting! I love how this camper can be used for all year long!

Personalized Birthday Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Personalized Birthday Card by Tatiana Trafimovich | Balloon Shaker Die Set, Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set and Essential Alphabet die set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Birthday Balloons!!

Today we are sharing a fun way to create a personalized birthday card by Tatiana! She started out by creating a whole bunch of colorful balloons in the background. She creatively used the top part of the die that goes with the balloon from our Fabulous Frenchies Die Set to create a quick stencil and then inked the colorful balloons using distress inks. Then she carefully used just the balloon string from the balloon stamp from our Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set to stamp on the strings! So creative!

Personalized Birthday Card by Tatiana Trafimovich | Balloon Shaker Die Set, Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set and Essential Alphabet die set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Then, for the big balloon in the center of the card she used the balloon die cut from our Balloon Shaker Die Set, inking it up with distress inks. She added the number 18 from the Essential Alphabet Die Set. She added the "it's your birthday" sentiment embossed on a piece of black cardstock using our Newton’s Birthday Bash Stamp Set. She also used the birthday hat from this set, placing it over the 8. The bow tie is from the Papa Bear Stamp Set and the star die cuts were cut out using the stars from the Cosmic Newton Die Set.

You could easily make this card for any age, just by changing the number! So creative!

Tea-Rex Card by Nakaba Rager

Tea-Rex Birthday Party Card by Nakaba Rager | Tea Rex Stamp Set and Sunscape and Confetti Stencils by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

ParTEA Rex!

This adorable card by Naki today will make you laugh!  She used our cute new dino holding tea from our Tea-Rex Stamp Set for the image. She colored him and cut him out with the coordinating Tea-Rex Die Set. Then she made a hilarious sentiment by paring the "TEA-REX" words from this set along with the "Par" from the word party from our Naughty Newton Stamp Set  to make a "ParTEA-Rex! So funny!

For her card background she used our Sunscape Stencil to create the grey rays and added some birthday confetti with embossing paste and our Confetti Stencil. She also added a party hat onto the dino using a hat die cut from our Balloon Shaker Die Set!

This card is so unique and fun for a birthday party! Thank you for the smiles today, Naki! If you like this project you can see more of Naki's work  you over on her blog, Notes from Naki. Stop by and say hello!

Love No Bunny But You Card by Holly Endress | Bunny Hop Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Love no Bunny Butt You!!

Today we are shaking things up with a fun Spring card by Holly She used our Bunny Hop Stamp Set to create this card, stamping the bunny in the flower pot and eggs and coloring them with copic markers. She added little white accents with a gel pen and then fussy cut out the images. For her card base she used tape to section off a rectangle before adding the distress inks for the fun watercolored background strip. Then she added a Black line once the tape was removed. What a fun technique!

Thank you, Holly, for the adorable card today! You can find more of Holly's creations and say hello to her over at her blog, Hollybeary Creations!

A Set of Stamped Background Cards by September Guest Designer Sindhu Prajay

Hello everyone! Sindhu here. Today happens to be my last GD post for Newton's Nook Designs. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and wish to thank Jen and Samantha again for inviting me over. :) My post for today is all about stamped backgrounds. I enjoy creating my own patterns by stamping backdrops for my focal images. Here is my first card...

Stamped Background Card by September Guest Designer Sindhu Prajay | Newton's Summer Treats and Summer Scoops Stamp Sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

I used Newton's Summer Treats and Summer Scoops stamp sets. I stamped images from the Summer Scoops set on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock in light grey ink and coloured the images with a grey copic marker. I used W0 since I didn't want the background to dominate my focal image. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out a rectangular panel. Then, I coloured the image, fussy cut it and adhered it on the panel and then stuck it on the card base.

For the next card, I stamped small images from the Newton's Birthday Bash Stamp Set in the background with coloured inks. Then filled a few of those images with colour.

Stamped Background Card by September Guest Designer Sindhu Prajay | Newton's Birthday Bash and Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Since the background has so much colour, I decided to tone it down a bit by layering vellum behind my focal image which is from the Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set. I added sentiment on a pice of white cardstock layered on red cardstock. I assembled the card on the card base.

For the last card, instead of stamping images in the background, I stamped text. Text backgrounds are so much fun. I used only a single stamp called 'Classy Teachers'. I didn't use any ruler or stamping tool for help but if you want a perfect background, one of them is recommended.

Here is a close up..

I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out a rectangular panel. Then, I coloured the image, fussy cut it and adhered it on the panel and then stuck the panel on the card base. Here is picture of the three cards together..

I also wanted to share a picture of all the cards I made for posts this month. :)

This stamp set is called Hello Beautiful and you can find it and the coordinating die ONLY at Simon Says Stamp!

And, of course, I had to play with the set to show you what you can create with it!

Hello Card with Kitty by Jennifer Jackson | STAMPtember Exclusive: Hello Beautiful Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
For my first card I created this fun little hello card with the kitty holding the sign from this set. I colored the kitty with copic markers and added the "hello" and "there" to his sign. Then I cut him out with a circle die and added two more circles in blue and yellow, stamping the "hello" on those as well to make a fun pattern!
Hello Card with Kitty by Jennifer Jackson | STAMPtember Exclusive: Hello Beautiful Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
For the card background I cut out a piece of kraft cardstock to create a postage edged panel using our Framework Die Set, I assembled all the pieces, adding in some twine and a few nuvo drops for a pop of color.
Happy Dogs Card by Jennifer Jackson | STAMPtember Exclusive: Hello Beautiful Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
Then I created a second card using the cute puppies holding a banner. I stamped them onto a stitched rectangle panel of watercolor paper that I cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. I added the "happy" on one side and "together" on the other.

Happy Dogs Card by Jennifer Jackson | STAMPtember Exclusive: Hello Beautiful Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

I colored them using Zig clean color brush markers. I added this panel to a kraft background and also added a bit of scalloped green paper up the side using our Sky Borders Die Set. I thought it needed a little more interest so I cut out a banner using our Frames & Flags Die Set and embossed a little white heart on it.

I hope you liked my projects today and using this new exclusive set.
Remember, you can only get this design at Simon Says Stamp while supplies last!

The whole Newton's Nook Designs Team was also able to play along with this new set!

On the top she added another little scene featuring that cute squirrel and some acorns from our Harvest Tails Stamp Set. She also layered in some cattails and a dragonfly from our Winston's Lake House Stamp Set. For the sentiment she chose "you make a nicer place" from our Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set

Next is a fun Halloween Shaker Card:
Halloween Shaker card by Ellen Haxelmans | Newton's Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set and Halloween Trio Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs
Ellen created another adorable project to share today. This one is a cloud shaped shaker card! She used the cute kitty on a broomstick from our Newton’s Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set. She colored the image with copic markers and then cut it out using the new coordinating Newton's Boo-tiful Night Die Set. She added this kitty, along with some bats and a moon onto the corner of her cloud.

Inside the shaker shape she also added the "trick or treat" die cut. This die cut is a bonus die that's included in our Halloween Trio Die Set.

Newton Loves Boxes Duo of Cards by September Guest Designer Sindhu Prajay

Hey everyone! Sindhu here. and I'm back with a couple of cute cards. I absolutely love the Newton's Nook Newton Loves Boxes' stamp set. There are four adorable images with many fun sentiments in the set. Both my cards today are very CAS. Here is the first one-
Cats in Boxes Card by September Guest Designer Sindhu Prajay | Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
To make this card, I started by making a circular window on a piece of cardstock measuring 4.25"×5.5". On the card base, I sponged ink through the brick stencil very lightly.
Cats in Boxes Card by September Guest Designer Sindhu Prajay | Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
I adhered the card panel with window making sure not to apply adhesive at the back of the lower side of the circular window to make it easy to tuck in the coloured, fussy cut images. I finished the card with three die cut hearts. Here is the next card... I took the circular die cut which I got from making a window on the first card, sponged ink through the same brick stencil and stamped the sentiment. I adhered the coloured and fussy cut images. I also added die cut hearts for a little pop of colour. I adhered it on the card base with foam tape.
