Not so Scary Ghostie Cat Card!

I just love this cute little ghostie cat from the new Boo Crew stamp set! Even my husband Jeff went "awwww" when I showed him the inital sketch for this guy! Then to make him even cuter, the curvy "meoooow" really adds to it, don't you think?

Yesterday, I showed you an owl card where I masked out the background and sponged the sun shape. You can read about that on this post: boo owl card.  For this card, I did the opposite. To make this card, I cut a piece of white card stock slightly smaller than the card front. I used a circle, cut out with a Big Shot die and held it in place (you could cut it out of a sticky note if you're worried about it moving). Then I sponged all around the circle with yellow and orange inks. When you're done, remove the circle and it has stayed white underneath! Cool, huh? Great way to make a sunset!

I know you probably want the Boo Crew Stamp set so you can make a cute Ghostie card for yourself, right?  You can go shopping in our online store all weekend (until Midnight Monday) and get 15% off your whole order! Use Code: SEPT15 in your shopping cart. Check out all our designs on our site:
