Rainbow of Birthday Wishes by Farhana Sarker

Birthday Wishes! 

Today we are sharing an amazing die cut floral birthday card by Farhana! This gorgeous layout is sure to make the recipient smile on their special day!

To make this card she used the flower die cut from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She cut the flower out of a white card front sized panel multiple times to create a fun floral pattern. A gorgeous inked and glittered background was layered behind this piece to create a beautiful rainbow of flowers. 

She then added some of the white flowers that had been cut on top, spacing them between the negative die cuts and adding gems to their centers. So pretty! To finish the card she stamped the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from our Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set. 

What a fun and creative way to use die cuts for a special birthday wish!

Easter Card by Larissa Heskett

 

A Sparkly Easter Creation! 

Today we are sharing a beautiful and sparkly Easter card by Larissa!

She created this fun easter scene by starting with the bunny from our Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set. She colored the bunny in neutral gray tones and added some speckled dot details to the fur. She cut the bunny out using the coordinating Bitty Bunnies Die Set. She colored a bunch of little eggs from the Newton's Easter Basket Stamp Set in various colors and cut them out using the coordinating Newton's Easter Basket Die Set. Then she created a BIG easter egg using our Oval Frames Die Set and added sparkle to it with 

foils from Therm O Web and a sparkly bow. She also added a flower to the bunny  and a little bird to the bow using the Newton's Peeps Stamp Set.

She tucked all these elements into a fun Easter themed scene. To create the scene she used our Clouds Stencil for the cloudy sky and our Land Borders Die Set for the layers of grass. The scallop edged frame was die cut using our Frames & Flags Die Set. How adorable!!

Hop This Way... Easter Card by Donna Idlet

Hop This Way...

Today we hopping over to share an adorable Easter card created by Donna! 

For this fun bunny themed Easter card she started out by stamping the image of the bunny peeking around the sign from our Hoppy Greetings Stamp Set. She colored the image with alcohol markers adding beautiful texture to the sign and cute pink cheeks to the bunny! This set has a variety of sentiments that will fit on the sign front and for her card today she chose to stack two of them using "Hop this way..." and "Hoppy Easter!" She also stamped and colored some little Easter eggs and extra flowers, also from the Hoppy Greetings Stamp Set, and added fun glitter to the eggs. She cut the images out using the coordinating Hoppy Greetings Die Set.  She also added a layer of polka dotted grass behind the bunny and sign using a pattern from our Springtime Paper Pad.

For the card background she used our Bunny Tails Stencil Set. This two piece stencil set has one stencil that is the bunny silhouettes and one that is the tails. It also includes etching so you can line them up easily. She used gray ink on the bunny silhouettes, fading them lighter near the top by adding less ink. Then she added the tails on using a sparkly texture paste with the second stencil. So cute!

Just a Little Note... Card by Tina Herbeck

A Little Note...

Today Tina has created created a simple yet stunning card that is sure to make the recipient smile! 

She started out by stamping and coloring the adorable image of the mouse holding a daisy from our Garden Mice Stamp Set. She used soft neutral colors with pops of green and gold on the flower. she cut the image out using the coordinating Garden Mice Die Set to add it to her card. 

For her card base, she kept it clean and simple, using several distress ink colors blended together for a soft background palette. She added a few water splatters to add a little fun detail. Then she stamped the sentiment "Just a little note..." from the Garden Mice Stamp Set in the upper corner.

This beautiful card would be so simple to recreate. Try creating a whole set of cards like this, just change out the image or sentiment for different occasions!

Happy Easter Card by Zsofia Molnar

 

Happy Easter!!

Today we are hopping over to share this adorable Easter card by Zsofia. 

This card features and adorable bunny theme using just neutral colors for a fun Easter Greeting! She starts out by coloring bunny from our Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set in neutral browns. She cut the image out using the coordinating Bitty Bunnies Die Set. She also cut the "Happy Easter" Sentiment out using the bonus die from the Spring Pile Up Die Set. She added some ink to the bottoms of the letters to give it a fun dimension. Next, she cut out a scalloped oval using our new Oval Frames Die Set. The bunny and sentiment fit perfectly inside the oval together! She framed this oval with a larger oval cut from vellum, also using the Oval Frames Die Set. 

For her card base she created that fun bunny pattern using our Bunny Tails Stencil Set. This set is two pieces so it makes creating the two color pattern easy. First she inked up the stencil with the bunny silhouettes using a dark brown ink over kraft paper. Then she used the second stencil with the bunny tails with texture paste. What a fun way to add dimension to the background!

She really kept the color palette minimal on this, using just tones of browns and white. A piece of kraft toned bakers twine across the top with a bit of gold finishes the project nicely!

Thinking of Ewe Card by Samantha Mann

 

Thinking of Ewe! 

Let someone know they are in your thoughts with this adorable card by Samantha!

For this card she features a sweet trio of sheep from our Baa Stamp Set. She colored these adorable fluffy sheep in neutral colors, adding pink to their cheeks and accents with a white gel pen. She cut the sheep out using the coordinating Baa Die Set. 

For her card base, she used our Bokeh Stencil Set to add the fun bokeh background in a gradient of pink to peach, created with distress inks. She added more texture with white paint splatters and then she cut this background out using our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it a fun scalloped edge. 

To create the customized sentiment she stamped the "thinking of" sentiment from the Baa Stamp Set, embossing it in white on a black strip of paper. Then she cut the letters to spell "EWE" on the right side of the background panel, using the Essential Alphabet Die Set to complete the sentiment. Super creative!

Happy Mother's Day Card by Maria Russell

 

Mother's Day Greeting! 

Today we are sharing a beautiful Mother's Day Greeting created by Maria! 

For her card she used the beautiful oval floral frame from our Best Mom Oval Stamp Set, coloring all the flowers in fun bright colors. She used the Oval Frames Die Set to cut the image out with a scalloped edge. Then she hand cut around the inside edge of the flowers to make it into a frame. Such a lovely idea! 

For the card she created a beautiful background panel using our Basketweave Stencil with white texture paste over a light pink background. This really adds such a fun spring feeling to the card. She cut it out to be slightly smaller than her white card and then layered the floral frame on top in the center. 

She embossed the Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from the Best Mom Oval Stamp Set in white on black cardstock and cut it out by hand before adding it to the center of her card. A few gold gems add a lovely finishing touch! 

 

This lovely card is perfect for Mother's Day but you could easily add a different sentiment in the center to make this into a spring birthday or friendship card too!
