We Go Together Like Movies and Popcorn Card by Diane Morales

Blockbuster Summer!
Today we are sharing a fun and patriotic card by Diane!

This card features:

Frames & Tags Die Set

Hello Newton’s Nook Fans!
Sharing with you today another fun summer card.

 

With summer here that means it is also time for summer movies. A movie-themed card is a perfect way to present movie tickets as a gift. To start this card I created a card base out of red card stock.
To create my card base and card front I chose the Large Zig-Zag Frame from Frames and Tags Die Set. For the card front I selected paper from Fireworks Paper Pad.
I also cut out the frame from Frames and Tags Die Set with white cardstock. Next, I stamped and colored my image from Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set. I used the coordinating die from Newton's Movie Night to cut out my image.
Then, I assembled all the pieces to complete my card.
I always love the extras that come with a stamp set.

 

I made sure to stamp out plenty of extra popcorn and stars to place on my card. To put this card together first I stamped my sentiment in the square of the upper right corner.
Next, I placed my stamped image. The popcorn pieces came next. For some of the popcorn pieces I used foam dots to add dimension.
For a finishing touch I used the stars that are included in the stamp set.

This was such a fun card to create. I am going to love giving this one as a gift with movie tickets.
