Welcome to day three of our Deck the Halls with Inky Paws week!

Each day this week we will have a new awesome featured guest and then a BIG blog hop on Friday, December 5th (with some give-aways, of course!) So make sure you come back and visit us every day!

Today's Featured guest is Amy Sheffer

Hi all, my name is Amy Sheffer, and I’m excited to be joining Newton’s Nook Designs this week! I live in Virginia with my husband, three children, and two pets (one cat and one dog). I was introduced to scrapbooking nearly twenty years ago, and stamping and card making soon after. Paper crafting is my creative outlet and passion, and I love being part of the online community of paper crafting enthusiasts!

Here's what Amy created!

Bunny in snow Card by Amy Sheffer | Winter Tails stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs

Amy created this sweet card with the bunny buried in the snow using our cut little Winter Tails Stamp set! I love all the layers of snow and the bits of sparkle that she added! Plus - the sequins and little wooden flakes give it the perfect finishing touch! This is such a fun card!

Deck the Halls cat in Christmas Lights | Card by Amy Sheffer | Newton's Holiday Mischief stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs

This next cute card, also by
Amy, features our naughty Newton from Newton's Holiday Mischief, getting tangled in the christmas lights. I love how she colored the kitty with little grey stripes! Plus she added a fun tree next to him  - do you think he pulled the lights of the tree? So adorable!

Thanks so much, Amy for being our guest today! She will be back for our Deck the Halls with Inky Paws blog hop on Friday, December 5th. Until then, you can visit her at her blog, Pickled Paper Designs to read more about her adorable projects and say hello!

Tomorrow we will have last special Guest  - Laura Bassen from Double Stick Heaven
so make sure you take some time to come back and visit us again!

  8. Great whimsical cards. I noticed that the tree beside the cat is slightly crooked so I feel certain he DID pull the lights off the tree. Saucy cats have been know to do that at my house, and have managed to pull the whole tree down. Now our tree is secured to the ceiling with fishing line. I am loving the look of your animal friend stamps. I hope Santa puts money under the tree this year so I can purchase some Bru soon.

  12. Both cards are smile-making and day-brightening. LOVE the bunny shoveling his way out of the snow; I can totally relate to that sentiment! The second card: charming!
