NND March Release Day 1 - Spring Showers

Today is our first full reveal day for March and we are featuring the set Spring Showers. We are giving this set away to two lucky winners so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this posting to see how to win!

Check out the cool texture on this card by Danielle  - and a vellum umbrella! Love it!!

I just LOVE this floral umbrella and boots that Larissa paper-pierced for this ducky! Adorable! 

Valerie went a whole different direction and didn't use the ducky on her card - instead she created a fun rainstorm! What a great get-well card! 

Samantha created this really fun scrapbook page using photos of her boys playing in the rain! What a fun way to use the cloud and ducky stamps!

Taheerah created this fun rainy- day scene! I love all the detailed paper-piercing!  So pretty! 

Crafty Math-Chick created a cool stormy sky - and paired it with a fun bright flowery umbrella! 

This card by Tessa is so bright and colorful it would cheer up anyone who wasn't feeling well!

Inky Paws #07 Challenge Winners!

Inky Paws #07 Challenge - WINNERS! 

WOW! We really had fun checking out all the great GREEN entries for our latest  Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog! This months theme was GO GREEN - and all the participants really did some awesome green cards! As always- it's hard to pick a winner because all the cards are so great! Thanks to everyone who played along!

Since we had over 15 participants we got to pick TWO winners! Read the captions below the photos to see who made the cards! 

We just loved all the fun textures and shades of green on this card by Barbara. What a fun way to use tons of green! Barbara used the kitty and sentiment from our Newton's Birthday Bash Set. You can see more of her work and congratulate Barbara on her blog, My Creative Room. 

This card by Chitra also caught our eyes right away! We loved the sky filled with green clouds and all the green birdhouses and birds from our Tweet Talk Set on strings of bakers twine! So adorable! You can say hello to Chitra on her blog My Crafty Corner!

Inky Paws Favorites

Since there were so many beautiful cards, we chose three more as our favorite picks! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

We loved the "green dot" theme that Donna used on her card with the Newton's Birthday Bash set. She has a dotted background texture, dotted patterned paper and sequins too! Great job!

This card by Kanan was a different twist on the green challenge - instead of creating a spring card like most of the participants, she used our  Holiday Wishes to create a pretty green Holiday card! We loved all the shades of green and bits of sparkle!

This little tag by Kelli is just adorable! We loved the way she colored the kitty from our Newton's Antics stamp set. Plus there are a ton of shades of green on this little piece! What a fun tag!

Birthday Kitty Gift Tags by Taheerah Atchia!

Sweetest Kitty Tags! 

Today I get to brighten your day with this cute little tag set by Taheerah Atchia! She took the kitty jumping out of the bag from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set and did some really neat paper-piercing! I love all the layers and colors - it's so cute how she lined up the little hearts on the paper so they look like the kitty is holding them! ADORABLE!!

What a fun way to dress up a gift, don't you think? I would be so excited if someone made this for me!

Happy Birthday Fairy Princess!

Don't you just love this super sweet birthday card by Danielle Pandeline? Danielle used the puppy in a fairy princess costume set from our Boo Crew Stamp set! Although this set was released for Halloween - I love that with a bit of imagination you can use it for other occasions as well!  Wouldn't this card be perfect for alittle girls birthday? Especially if she loves puppies and princesses!

Hello Birdie Card by Larissa Heskett

Another super fun card  by Larissa today

Today I get to share this super sweet card by Design Team Member Larissa Heskett!  She created this card using the birdhouse from one of our newest stamp sets, Tweet Talk and combined it with the little hello sentiment and birdies from the Winged Wishes set! Isn't it cute how that bird house hangs right from the letter "o"? So fun! Plus I just LOVE woodgrain on cards too!
