Springtime Wishes

Today we are sharing a beautiful card by Tatiana that is perfect for sending a spring hello.

To create this gorgeous card she started by stamping all the pretty plants from our Succulent Garden Stamp Set. She colored them all in stunning hues of purples and yellows using watercolor markers and then added accents with a white gel pen. She cut all the images out using the coordinating Succulent Garden Die Set

For her card, She created an oval window on her card panel by using our Oval Frames Die Set. On one side of the oval she created a tone-on-tone pattern using white texture paste on white cardstock using our Trailing Leaves Stencil. She added the floral images to the other side of the oval, layering them using dimensional tape. She also added some black paint splatters for a fun additional bit of texture.

For the message she used the "Springtime Wishes" sentiment from our Tulips Stamp Set, stamping half of it on a black rectangle and half of it directly onto the card front.

Tulip Thank You Card by Zsofia Molnar | Tulips Stamp Set, Daffodils Stamp Set, Floral Lace Stencil and Frames & Flags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Floral Thank You

Today Zsofia has created a beautiful spring thank you card featuring a floral theme.

She started out by stamping the pretty bundle of blooms from our Tulips Stamp Set. She colored the tulips white by adding just a hint of light shadow and added bright green to the stems and leaves. The image was cut out using the coordinating Tulips Die Set

Next, she created a gorgeous lacy background using our Floral Lace Stencil with blue and green inks. She added a bit of black paint splatter to the top and then cut it out using the largest frame from our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the fun scalloped edge. She cut a second panel using the same die again with dark green paper and layered it behind the patterned piece to give it a contrasting edge. Then she layered both pieces at an angle onto her card.

For the thank you message she used the sentiment from our Daffodils Stamp Set, stamped along the edge of the angled pattern.

Bark for Another Birthday!

This card by Diane is perfect for sending a birthday wish to a person who loves dogs!

To create this cute card she started by stamping and coloring the tall stack of dogs with birthday presents and balloons from our Birthday Barks Stamp Set. She cut the image out using the coordinating Birthday Barks Die Set.

Then, she chose to make a fun slimline card for this tall image. She used the large scallop edged rectangle from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set along with our Birthday Woofs Paper Pad to cut out the fun background of patterned papers. So fun! Next, she used the die with three round windows from the same Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set with white paper to create a shaker window frame, filling the shaker windows with pretty iridescent sequins. She used one of the circles that cuts out from the frame de to add the sentiment "Bark for another Birthday!" to the card center.

Hippity Hoppity Cards by Jennifer Jackson

Hippity Hoppity Cards by Jennifer Jackson | Hop Into Spring Stamp Set, Bunny Tails Stencil Set, and Frames & Flags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs

Hippity Hoppity!

Hello! Jen here today and I've been having fun with some easter crafting! Today I'm sharing two bunny cards that both feature our Bunny Tails Stencil Set and Hop Into Spring Stamp Set!

For the first card, pictured above, I used our Bunny Tails Stencil Set to make a fun background of teal bunnies. This stencil is a two piece set and one piece has the bunny silhouettes and the second piece has the bunny tails.  The stencil also has etching on each piece so you can easily line up the bunnies and tails. I used two shades of teal to create the fun background. Then I layered it over a teal rectangle with a scalloped edge that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set

For the main image, I stamped and colored the bunny in a spring watering can from our Hop Into Spring Stamp Set. I chose bright spring colors of copic markers, matching the color of the watering can to the stenciled background. The image was cut out using the coordinating Hop Into Spring Die Set before layering it onto the card. I also added the sentiment "Hippity Hoppity" from our Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. This was stamped onto a yellow banner that was cut out using the same Frames & Flags Die Set

For the second card I used almost exactly the same supplies but created a slightly different card layout. For the background I made another panel of bunnies using our Bunny Tails Stencil Set but this time I used a yellow cardstock base and mustard ink for the bunny silhouettes. Then I used flocking to addd fuzzy white tails to the bunnies. I cut this panel out using the Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the fun scalloped edge.

Again, I colored the same image of the bunny in the watering can from the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set but this time I made the watering can yellow to match the background pattern.

I used the same "Hippity Hoppity" sentiment from the Spring Roundabout Stamp Set, but this time I stamped it onto a piece of cream colored cardstock and then cut a scalloped edge on one side using our Sky Borders Die Set. A small stripe of pink ribbon finishes the card.

I hope you enjoyed these fun spring cards! I also hope that I have inspired you to make multiple cards using similar supplies but changing them up just a little! This is such a fun way to try new things and experiment!

For her card, she ink blended two background shapes. She used our Basketweave Stencil with brown ink on brown paper. She also added gold paint splatters to the brown paper and cut it out into a heart shape using our Heart Frames Die Set. For the second pattern she used our Petite Hearts Stencil with pale pink ink on a light pink paper. She cut the heart pattern out using the stitched square die from our Frames Squared Die Set. She also cut out a black decorative square shape using the Frames Squared Die Set. She layered all of the die cut shapes and added the puppy to the front. She also added the message "lucky dog" onto a small circle shape that was cut out using the Frames Squared Die Set.
