2025 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop | Coffee Card by Claire Lamb | Autumn Coffees Stamp Set, Thanks a Latte Die Set and Plaid Stencil Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Claire colored those cute little mugs from the Autumn Coffees Stamp Set in gorgeous fall colors using alcohol markers. One of our favorite things about this stamp set is that it includes mugs shaped like a fox, pumpkin and owl! Aren't they adorable? The mug images were cut out using the coordinating Autumn Coffees Die Set and then she arranged them along the bottom of a vellum oval, cut out with our Oval Frames Die Set. Above the mugs she added the die cut greeting using our Thanks a Latte die set.

Pumpkin Spice Card by Donna Idlet | Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set, Oval Frames Die Set, Frames & Flags Die Set, Land Borders Die Set and Autumn Paper Pad by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Pumpkin Spice + Pretty Papers!

Today Donna has created a beautiful autumn card that is jam packed with pumpkin spice fun!

She started out by coloring the image of the girl holding giant pumpkins and a coffee from our Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set. She colored it in fun bright colors! Don't you love the blue jacket!? She cut the image out using the coordinating Pumpkin Latte Die Set. She also colored and cut out two leaves a little pumpkin using the same set. She added these elements onto an oval that was cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set. She also added a bit of grass to the bottom of the oval using our Land Borders Die Set and clouds to the top using our Clouds Stencil to create a fun scene inside the oval. She added the sentiment, embossed in white onto a banner that was die cut using our Frames & Flags Die Set

For her card base she chose patterns from our Autumn Paper Pad. The plaid and pumpkin patterns both coordinate so well with the pumpkin spice theme! She cut them into strips and layered them onto a dark chocolate colored cardstock to create a fun contrast! What a fun way to add some pretty prints to your cards!

Pumpkin Spice Cat card by Debbie Owens | Newton's Crate Stamp Set, Newton's Mug Stamp Set, Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set and Frame Die Set by #newtonsnook #handmade
For this gorgeous card she stamped and colored the images of the kitty in the crate from the Newton's Crate Stamp Set and the kitty in the mug from our Newton's Mug Stamp Set. Don't these two images go perfectly together? She colored both kitties in shades of gray and used fall browns and oranges on the pumpkins and crate. The dusty blue on the coffee mug really adds the perfect pop of color to this fun fall palette! She used the coordinating Newton's Crate Die Set and  Newton's Mug Die Set to cut the images out. She also stamped and colored two little pumpkins from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set, some leaves from the Newton's Crate Stamp Set and a coffee beans and a little to-go coffee mug from the Time for Coffee Stamp Set to help set the theme! What a fun way to combine sets!

For her card base she created scallop edged layers using our Frames & Flags Die Set and  Framework Die Set. A little ink sponged on the edges softens the layers and a bit of twine finishes the look!

For the sentiment she chose the pumpkin spice themed phrase from ourPumpkin Latte Stamp Set and stamped it onto a circle that was cut using our Frames Squared Die Set and added it to the upper corner. A little leaf finishes it off perfectly!

Amy created a lovely Fall featuring our Fall-ing For You and  Pumpkin Latte Stamp Sets:
If you love fall as much as we do, this card by Amy will steal your heart! She paired our Fall-ing For You and  Pumpkin Latte Stamp Sets together for a beautiful Autumn creation. She stamped and embossed the big sentiment from the Fall-ing For You Stamp Set onto a square that was cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set. Then she stamped and colored the girl holding a coffee and the coffee cup, pumpkins and leaves from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set. She did some amazing shading on her coloring and added fun little accents with a white gel pen. There is also bits of sparkle added! Look at those gold buttons on the coat! The images were then cut out using the coordinating Pumpkin Latte Die Set and she arranged them all around the edges of the sentiment! So pretty!

Thanks a Latte Card by February Guest Designer Caitlin Anthony

Hi everyone! For my third project this month, I really wanted to change things up and do a slim line card. I should probably start off by telling you that as a human being, my body is probably made up of about 64% coffee on any given day. So, when I saw the super sweet new Love Café Stamp Set from the Valentine’s release, I knew I needed it immediately and I thought I would use it to inspire my slim line card.

Thanks a Latte Card by February Guest Designer Caitlin Anthony | Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set and Slimline Masking Stencil Set by Newton's Nook Designs

I started out by cutting down some plain white 80 lb cardstock to 3 x 8 inches and taping it to the back of the circle stencil from the Slimline Masking Circles & Squares Stencil Set. I used a blending sponge and two colors of distress ink to create an ombré effect for each circle, with the darker color (Walnut Stain) on the outside and the lighter color (Gathered Twigs) in the middle. I also made up a water mixture with each color and added splatters to each circle. I really wanted to give it the feel that lots and lots of coffee had dripped and spilled there over time (but really, who would dare to waste coffee like that…). The last  addition to the circles was the little coffee beans from the Love Café Stamp Set, which I stamped with the Walnut Stain distress ink since I wanted a more rustic, splotchy feel.

I stamped the lady from the Pumpkin Latte stamp set and the coffee mugs from the Love Café Stamp Set in alcohol friendly ink and stamped a sentiment from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set in the middle circle in the same black ink. I picked out a cool black and beige pattern paper for the main card panel and used coordinating copics to color in the images, adding in a hot pink combo for a fun pop. I used the coordinating die sets to cut out the images then removed the circle panel from the stencil and added some Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs to the outer edges of the rectangle.

This card came together so quickly at the end. I glued the circle panel to the pattern paper and added my images to their circles. I decided to put the cups at the bottom because they had a heavier feel vs the latte lady. I glued the whole piece down to a card base measuring 3.5 x 8.5 inches and paired it with a kraft brown slimline envelope. This was a really fun card to make and I can’t wait to play with these slim line stencils some more.

As a bonus, I was begged into sharing one last picture with you this week. My 6 years old daughter came to inspect my work and fell in love with the Woodland Spring Stamp Set that I used in my first card. She made her own card with those stamps, completely on her own start to finish and asked if I could share it with you all- we hope it makes you smile!

Christmas Card and Gift Set by Ellen Haxelmans

Santa Coffee Card & Gift!
Today Ellen has created a beautiful holiday gift set with Santa and coffee themes!

First, she created an adorable christmas card featuring our new Dear Santa Stamp Set:

For this card she colored the image of Santa from the Dear Santa Stamp Set for the main image. She added in the north pole sign and little mouse from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set. The images were cut out using the coordinating Dear Santa Die Set and Santa Paws Newton Die Set to layer onto her card. For the background she used our Cloudy Sky Stencil with gritty white texture paste to create a cloudy sky over a blue inked background. To complete the scene she used our Land Borders Die Set and Sea Borders Die Set to create snow banks. The finishing touch is the sentiment "A Christmas Hello" from our A Kitten Christmas Stamp Set, embossed in gold onto a banner that was cut out with our Banner Trio Die Set. The red scalloped frame was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set

Next, she decorated a gift box with a coffee theme:

She again used a Santa image from our Dear Santa Stamp Set, coloring it and trimming it out with the coordinating Dear Santa Die Set. This time she layered the image over a fun coffee cup background that was created using our Mugs Stencil with distress inks. She also added in some peppermints from the Dear Santa Stamp Set and a coffee mug from the  Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set, colored to match the holiday theme. Again, she cut a banner using our Banner Trio Die Set and embossed the sentiment onto it. The sentiment "have a cup of cheer" is from our Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set. This whole panel was framed with a red scalloped edge using our Framework Die Set

Here is what is inside the box:

Doesn't it look yummy? Coffee and tea treats for someone sweet! She also added the die cut "Cheers!" from our Cocktail Mixer Die Set

Tips on creating this card

Below we have some tips from Ellen on how this card was created:

  1. (left photo) First I colored the images from the Dear Santa Stamp Set and Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set with copic markers

  2. (center photo) I created the backgrounds for the two projects. On a rectangle I created a blue distress ink background. The mug background was created with the Mugs Stencil and darker ink. The cloudy background was created with grit texture paste and the Cloudy Sky Stencil. A stencil pal helps to apply the grit paste.

  3. (right photo) I added the hills (made with the Land Borders Die Set and Sea Borders Die Set). Next I stamped the text in gold on a banner using gold embossing powder and a heat gun.

This card would be a perfect addition to the Coffee Lovers blog Hop, going on this week! You can head over to the Coffee Lovers Blog to find out how you can link up your card to play along -- There are a TON of prizes, including one from us at Newton's Nook Designs

We hope you enjoyed this fun project today and tips from Ellen! To see more unique creations by Ellen, you can visit her over at her blog Crafty Ellen!

Grateful for You Card by Amy Tsuruta | Sunflower Days, Pumpkin Latte, and Fall-ing for You Stamp Sets by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Grateful for You!

Although we've started sharing Christmas cards, there is still a bit of time left to celebrate fall too! Today we have an amazing Fall themed card by Amy! She combined several fun fall themed products to create this cozy Fall scene! First she colored the big image of sunflowers from our Sunflower Days Stamp Set.  Then she added pumpkins in front of the sunflowers, using images from our Fall-ing for You Stamp Set and our Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set. She also added the girl carrying her coffee from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set. The images were cut out using the coordinating Sunflower Days Die Set and  Pumpkin Latte Die Set.  She layered everything over a stitched circle to contain the scene (cut out with our Circle Frames Die Set). She also added a bit of grass along the bottom of the circle using our Land Borders Die Set.

Behind the circle, she added two fun layers with decorative edges that were cut out using our Framework Die Set. On the top layer she also added a soft argyle pattern using our Argyle Stencil Set. The finishing touch is the sentiment "Grateful for you" from our Fall Roundabout Stamp Set. It was added onto a banner that has a pop up dimension to it from our Banner Trio Die Set

This card is jam packed with cozy fall fun, don't you think!?

Thanks a Latte Card by Andrea Shell

Thanks a Latte Card by Andrea Shell | Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set, Framework die set and Plaid Stencil Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade

Thanks a Latte!

Today we are sharing a gorgeous Fall themed thank you card by Andrea. She created this card featuring the adorable image of the girl holding pumpkins and a coffee from our new Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set. It's so cute how she colored one pumpkin orange and the other white. The image was cut out using the coordinating Pumpkin Latte Die Set. She framed the image with a scalloped edge that was die cut using our Framework Die Set.

For the background she created and amazing plaid pattern using our Plaid Stencil Set. This stencil set has two layers that easily line up and is perfect for creating two color patterns. For this card, Andrea chose to use teal and orange to match her image! So pretty! She added the scalloped edge using our Frames & Flags Die Set. Then she finished the card off by added the "thanks a latte" sentiment from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set in the center of a circle that was cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set.
