Pitter Patter of Puppy Feet Card by Maria Russell

 

Celebrate a New Puppy! 

Today Maria is sharing an adorable card that is perfect for celebrating a new puppy! 

This card features the cute little pup, dog house and accessories from our Welcome New Dog Stamp Set. She colored all these images using neutrals and fun bright reds and greens. Then she used the coordinating Welcome New Dog Die Set to cut them out. 

She created a scene for this cute pup using our Oval Frames Die Set. She used the scalloped edge die set to frame the scene, coloring a blue edge inside the stitching and adding hand drawn details with a white gel pen. Then sue used the slightly smaller oval die to cut out a cloudy background using a piece of patterned paper from our Springtime Paper Pad. The grass was added using our Land Borders Die Set. What a perfect way to set the scene. The pup and all the puppy items were then arranged over the top. 

For the background she used our new Petite Paw Prints Stencil to create a fun inked background to add to the pet theme. The finishing touch is the sentiment "Enjoy the pitter pater of puppy feet" embossed in white onto a black square of cardstock. 

This card would be perfect for sending to a new pet parent!
