November Reveals - Day 3 - Newton's Candy Cane and Llama Delivery

Today is our LAST reveal day for our November Release and we're sharing two new adorable mini stamp sets! We have a giveaway too so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

Llama Delivery

Send a special delivery this holiday season with this adorable llama! This cute little 3 x 4 stamp set includes a llama laden with gifts for holidays and more. Create delicious cards using the included "peppermint kisses" and "sweet holiday wishes" sentiments included in this set! Those cute candy images are perfect for creating background patterns too!

This peppermint kitty card by Juliana is so sweet! She used the kitty and mints from the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set and layered them over a tag cut out using the new Fancy Edges Tag Die. She also cut a green stitched rectangle using the Frames & Flags Die set (Those new dies were revealed on Monday's post here).

Naki created this adorable Holiday llama card using the new Llama Delivery Stamp Set. The no line watercoloring on the image is so soft and pretty! Plus, It's so cute how she created a background by stamping all the little music notes! 

The new Frames and Flags Die set is great for making shaker card frames like the one on this card by Maria! She added the kitty from the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp set on top and stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the  Sentiments of the Season Stamp Set. She also added a cute bow and branches using the Pines & Holly Die Set.

Larissa created a festive little holiday gift bag with a llama tag! She cut out the tag and cute little green tag topper using the new Frames & Flags Die Set (revealed on Monday's post here). The she added on that cute llama from the new Llama Delivery Stamp Set. Isn't her coloring beautiful!?

This duo of Holiday kitty tags were created by Amanda. She used our new Fancy Edges Tag Die Set (revealed on Monday's post here) to cut out the tags and added on those fun borders! Then she colored the kitty from the Newton's Candy Cane stamp set in two different color combos!

Samantha created this beautiful llama card using the new Llama Delivery Stamp set! She also used the Starfield Stencil to create that amazing sky and added in some hills with the Land Borders Die Set too! Isn't the gradation on the sky and hills just gorgeous!?

Candy cane stripes are perfect for the Holidays! Jennifer created this adorable Holiday tag featuring that cute kitty from the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set. She also cut out those cute tags using the new Fancy Edges Tag Die Set (revealed on Monday's post here).

The hues of pink and yellow on this card by Ellen are so pretty! She used our Llama Delivery Stamp Set and colored the llama with pretty bright pastels! She added some snowy hills using the Land Borders Die Set and added the sentiment over a tag die cut using the new Frames & Flags Die Set  (revealed on Monday's post here).

Tatiana created this festive Holiday card using the kitty from the Newtons Candy Cane Stamp set inside a pretty wreath! To create the wreath she used branched and berries that she die cut with our Pines & Holly Die Set! 

This cheerful holiday card was created by Holly using the the llama and gifts from the Llama Delivery Stamp Set! The color combo of pink, lime green and blue is so cute! She created snow drifts using the and Borders Die Set too!

Vibrant Winter Scenes by Ellen Haxelmans

Vibrant Winter Scenes!

Today Ellen has created a duo of vibrant winter themed cards using sets from our Retirement Sale Category! There are several holiday and winter designs in our retiring sale that are only available while supplies last so it's a great time to get a jump start on your holiday cards for next year and receive a discount on the products!

Her first card features the snowboarding moose from our retiring Moose Mountain Stamp Set:

This card features a gorgeous orange and yellow background that was stenciled using inks with our Snowfall Stencil. She also used our Land Borders Die Set and Sea Borders Die Sets to cut white snow.  and added black tree silhouettes using our Forest Scene Builder Die Set. The whole scene was cut out with our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it a scalloped edge. 

Her second card features the sweet llama with gifts on his back from our retiring Llama Delivery Stamp Set:

For this card she created a square layout using our Frames Squared Die Set to create the layers. She added stars to the sky using our Cascading Stars Stencil. Stars and a cloud were die cut using our Sky Scene Builder Die Set. She also added snowy hills using our Land Borders Die Set and Sea Borders Die Sets.

• (Left photo above): I stamped the images using Llama Delivery Stamp Set and the Moose Mountain Stamp Set and colored them with copic markers. Colors listed below:

Special Holiday Delivery

Today Amanda has created a whimsical holiday card that will make you sing along! 

This adorable card features that lovely llama from our Llama Delivery Stamp Set. This guy is so cute with the load of gifts on his back! She colored the image in fun bright holiday colors and added some fun glossy details. She also colored three extra gifts and colored them to match. All the images were then cut out using the coordinating Llama Delivery Die Set. She also stamped the sentiment "Special Delivery" and cut it into small strips. She then placed everything onto a circle that was cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set. So cute!

For her card base, she used the fun plaid patterned paper from our new Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. cutting it to the cover the whole card front. Then she added a banner to hold the sentiment on the top using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She added some red twine and some cute little music notes, also from the  Llama Delivery Stamp Set.

Fa-La-La-La Llama Delivery Card by Amanda Bodine

Fa-la-la-la-llama! 

This llama card by Amanda is so fun and festive! She created this adorable holiday scene featuring the llama from our Llama Delivery Stamp Set. She colored the llama and the gifts in vibrant colors using copic markers. Then she cut out the llama, gifts and music notes using the coordinating Llama Delivery Die Set. To create a scene for her card she used a lovely starry sky background and added in trees and a cardinal using our Forest Scene Builder Die Set. A snowy hill cut our using our Land Border Die Set in the front completes the scene! We hope this llama is bringing some good gifts our way!

Holiday Llama Card

This holiday card by Amanda will get you in the mood to sing Christmas tunes! 

To create this adorable card she features the image of the holiday llama from our Llama Delivery Stamp Set. She colored the llama in soft holiday colors and added fun accents using a white gel pen. The image was cut out using the coordinating Llama Delivery Die Set. 

Next, she created a fun wreath to surround the llama. For the wreath base she cut out a circle using our Circle Frames Die Set from kraft colored paper. She added music notes to the circle using our Music Stencil. Then she cut out lots of branches in using two shades of green paper with our Pines & Holly Die Set and adhered them all around the edge of the circle to create a wreath shape. She also cut out the bow and pinecones using the same Pines & Holly Die Set and placed them onto the wreath as well. 

She tucked that cute llama into the wreath and added the "Fa-la-la-la-llama" words stamped onto a speech bubble above his head. The speech bubble was cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. So cute! 

This whole wreath was then layered over a teal and blue inked card base. Some paint splatters add a fun and creative detail to the background too!

Special Delivery Card by November Guest Designer Kelli Cool

Today we have our first post from our November Guest Designer, Kelli from Cools Cards! We love her fun card making style using bright colors and adorable scenes and we can't wait to share what she creates this month as our guest! Kelli, here, posting a cute card using the Newton’s Nook Llama Delivery Stamp Set.

For this card, I colored the images using BG13, BG11, BG10, Y19, Y13, Y11, RV09, RV06, RV05, and RV 00. 

To blend the background, I used Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers and Distress Inks in Faded Blue Jeans. I also used the Newton’s Nook Snowfall Stencil to add a little extra to the background.

A Llama Birthday Fun Card by Zsofia Molnar

A Llama Birthday Fun!

Today we are having a llama fun with this card by Zsofia! She created this adorable card by re-purposing the holiday llama from our Llama Delivery Stamp Set to create a birthday card! She colored the image using a gorgeous mint green and blue color palette and cut it out using the coordinating Llama Delivery Die Set. She layered the image onto a kraft colored tag that was cut out using our Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. For the background she created a gorgeous blue to mint colored ombré background with distress inks and layered confetti over it using our Confetti Stencil. The background was also cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it a scalloped edge. For the birthday sentiment, she used our Lovable Llama Stamp Set and stamped it onto a circle cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set.

We hope this gives you some ideas to look at your stamps in new ways. With just a little creative thinking many of your holiday stamps can be used all year long!

A Fond Farewell to Juliana Michaels!

Saying Thank you & Farewell to Juliana!

Today we are sharing a collection of favorites created by Juliana. We are sad to say this will be our last post featuring Juliana as a member of our Design Team at Newton's Nook Designs! We are so grateful to have had Juliana on our team two amazing years! We've truly loved all her beautiful cards! She has such an eye for color and has inspired us each month with so many creative ways to use our products! Her creations always bring a smile to our faces! Plus, she is such a sweetheart and we've enjoyed getting to know her too. Juliana has been such an awesome member of our NND family! We are so sad to see her go but we feel lucky to have had her on our team for so long! Who knows -  you might see her back now and then for a blog hop or special feature! We wish her the very best as she continues to do fun things in the craft world and will definitely be checking out her blog - 17 Turtles in the future to say hello!

I thought it would be fun to re-share a few favorite cards by Juliana so I asked her to choose her favorite cards from her time on the NND Design Team! She has created so many awesome projects it was hard for her to choose but here are her picks below!

I'm a huge Halloween fan and the adorable Newton's Costume Party is one of my favorites! I just loved dressing up each cat with a different costume. I created the background using the Sky Borders Die Set too!

The mice from Naughty or Mice quickly became one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets from last year!

Being a big lover of all things Christmas, I just adore the cute llama in the Llama Delivery set. Here I combined it with the Snowfall Stencil to create a festive holiday scene. I also tucked in some holly with the Pines & Holly Die Set and used the Frames & Flags Die Set too.

 I love combining multiple images onto one card and the Sending Hugs Stamp Set is perfect for that!
 

Along with their adorable stamp sets, NND also creates some fun stencils and dies like this Tree Rings Stencil and Autumn Leaves Die Set. I also added in a sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set.

Last but not least...the final card I created for NND combined some of my favorite characters all on one card! I'm especially smitten with those cute pups from Happy Howl-i-days! This card includes images from Happy Howl-idays, Llama Delivery, Santa Paws Newton, Naughty or Mice, and Slothy Christmas along with the Framework Die Set.
