Happy Easter Card with Peeps by Zsofia Molnar

Easter Kitties & Peeps!

Today Zsofia has created a fun Easter card filled with easter peeps and kitties! 

She started out by stamping the adorable images of Newton and the chicks from our Newton's Peeps Stamp Set. She also stamped some extra chicks and little flowers using the same set. She colored all the images using a fun spring color palette filled with yellow, green and orange. The images were all cut out using the coordinating  Newton's Peeps Die Set. She created a little scene for the kitties by cutting out a mint green rectangle using our Framework Die Set and adding a layer of grass using our Land Borders Die Set. Then she tucked all the images around the grass. Isn't it cute how the kitty is peeking out from behind it!? She also added the sentiment, stamped onto a bubble that was cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. So cute!

For her card, she started with a white card base and added a fun layer of pattern, created using our Basketweave Stencil in brown ink over a light brown paper. She cut this panel out using the postage stamp edged die from our Framework Die Set and layered it behind her scene. That basket pattern really adds to the fun Easter theme!

Welcome Spring Shaker Card by Donna Idlet

A Sweet Spring Shaker!

Today Donna has created a sweet shaker card that is perfect for celebrating spring!

To create this fun shaker card she began by stamping the big circle filled with little spring icons from our Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. She colored all the cute little images with bright spring colors and then cut the image out using our Circle Frames Die Set. She also used the same die set to cut out the scallop edged circle for the shaker window. She filled the shaker with sequins that matched the spring colors she had used on the images. 

For her card she started with a white card base. Then she cut out the pretty blue gingham pattern from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad using our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the scalloped edge. For the message she used "Welcome Spring!" from the Spring Roundabout Stamp Set. She embossed the sentiment in black and then die cut it using our Banner Duo Die Set. 

What a fun way to celebrate spring!

St Patrick's Day Card by Farhana Sarker

Ink Blending for St. Patrick's Day!

This sweet card by Farhana features a puppy theme with a rainbow,  perfect for St. Patrick's Day! 

For her card front she started with a white card base and masked off the bottom. On the top she used our Petite Paw Prints Stencil along with a rainbow of ink colors to create a rainbow of paw prints! 

Next, she stamped and colored the puppy holding the four leaf clover from our Lucky Dog Stamp Set. She also stamped and colored the top hat from the same set. She die cut both images using the coordinating Lucky Dog Die Set. She layered the hat onto the puppies head and added him onto her card in front of the rainbow. 

Here are the copic marker colors she used: 

For the St. Patrick's Day message she used the sentiment from our Newton's Lucky Clover Stamp Set, stamped in black below the rainbow. 

This adorable card would be perfect to send to a dog lover for  St. Patrick's Day!

Springtime Wishes Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Springtime Wishes

Today we are sharing a beautiful card by Tatiana that is perfect for sending a spring hello. 

To create this gorgeous card she started by stamping all the pretty plants from our Succulent Garden Stamp Set. She colored them all in stunning hues of purples and yellows using watercolor markers and then added accents with a white gel pen. She cut all the images out using the coordinating Succulent Garden Die Set. 

For her card, She created an oval window on her card panel by using our Oval Frames Die Set. On one side of the oval she created a tone-on-tone pattern using white texture paste on white cardstock using our Trailing Leaves Stencil. She added the floral images to the other side of the oval, layering them using dimensional tape. She also added some black paint splatters for a fun additional bit of texture. 

For the message she used the "Springtime Wishes" sentiment from our Tulips Stamp Set, stamping half of it on a black rectangle and half of it directly onto the card front.

Tulip Thank You Card by Zsofia Molnar

Floral Thank You

Today Zsofia has created a beautiful spring thank you card featuring a floral theme. 

She started out by stamping the pretty bundle of blooms from our Tulips Stamp Set. She colored the tulips white by adding just a hint of light shadow and added bright green to the stems and leaves. The image was cut out using the coordinating Tulips Die Set. 

Next, she created a gorgeous lacy background using our Floral Lace Stencil with blue and green inks. She added a bit of black paint splatter to the top and then cut it out using the largest frame from our Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the fun scalloped edge. She cut a second panel using the same die again with dark green paper and layered it behind the patterned piece to give it a contrasting edge. Then she layered both pieces at an angle onto her card. 

For the thank you message she used the sentiment from our Daffodils Stamp Set, stamped along the edge of the angled pattern. 

What a beautiful card. This fun layout could be easily duplicated using any of other floral designs and would be perfect for creating a series of floral thank you cards!

Bark for Another Birthday Card by Diane Morales

Bark for Another Birthday!

This card by Diane is perfect for sending a birthday wish to a person who loves dogs! 

To create this cute card she started by stamping and coloring the tall stack of dogs with birthday presents and balloons from our Birthday Barks Stamp Set. She cut the image out using the coordinating Birthday Barks Die Set.

Then, she chose to make a fun slimline card for this tall image. She used the large scallop edged rectangle from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set along with our Birthday Woofs Paper Pad to cut out the fun background of patterned papers. So fun! Next, she used the die with three round windows from the same Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set with white paper to create a shaker window frame, filling the shaker windows with pretty iridescent sequins. She used one of the circles that cuts out from the frame de to add the sentiment "Bark for another Birthday!" to the card center. 

This is such a fun way to use multiple paper designs on one project and would be a great way to use up paper scraps too!

Postage Stamp Inspired Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Butterfly Postage Stamps

Today we are sharing a beautiful cad by Ellen, inspired by postage stamps!

She started by cutting out three of the small postage stamp shaped rectangles using our Framework Die Set. She masked off the outer edges and inked the inside areas using various distress inks and added a different pattern to each one using our Tree Rings Stencil, Trailing Leaves Stencil and Petite Paw Prints Stencil. 

She added a postage watermark onto each stamp using our Hare Mail Stamp Set (retiring). Then, she cut out butterflies to match the colors of ink using the butterfly shape from our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. She adhered these to each rectangle and added a gemstone the center of each one. 

For her card base she choose a pretty purple floral paper from our Spring Blooms Paper Pad. 

What a beautiful idea and a fun way to send some postage themed happy mail!
