August Reveals Day 3 - Fall Friends + Heartfelt Gourds

 

Today is day three of our new August products and today we have two new gorgeous Fall themed designs to share! First, we are enjoying a beautiful autumn afternoon on the front porch with our puppy and kitty friends and lovely fall décor. Next, we have a gorgeous new addition to our Heart Card Front line of products, this time a fun heart filled with fall gourds and pumpkins! Heartfelt Gourds

Life is Gourd! Create some fun this fall using this 4x6 Stamp Set! It features one large heart shaped stamp that is filled with gourds and pumpkins! This image is perfect for coloring in multiple colors, or simply stamp or emboss the image with colored ink for a quick and easy greeting! It also includes seven fun sentiments too. August Reveals Day 2 - Count Newton + Trick or Treat Kittens

August Reveals Day 1 - Brooms & Boos + Candy Corn Stencil Set

Hip Hip Hooray Card by Ellen Haxelmans

Hip, Hip, Hooray!

Today Ellen has created a fun cupcake card that is filled with sparkle and shine! 

For this fun card she used our Cupcake Stencil Set to create the cupcakes. This stencil is a three piece set. On stencil one she used distress inks for the yellow tops. Then she used stencil two to add foil onto the cupcake bottoms. Lastly, she used stencil three with red glittery gel for the cherries and sprinkles. (see her project details at the bottom of this post).

After everything was dry, she cut out this fun pattern and added it over a yellow scallop edged frame that was die cut using our Frames & Flags Die Set. Then she added a big pink ribbon and the "hip, hip, hooray" sentiment from our Uplifting Wishes Stamp Set. The sentiment was cut out using circles from our Circle Frames Die Set and our Frames Squared Die Set. 

Here is a close up so you can see all the sparkle!

It would be so much fun to get this card in the mail for a birthday or any other celebration!

Details on the cupcake background from Ellen:

Below we have some instructions from Ellen on how to create this background.

1. (left photo) I used the first stencil and layer taped parts off. Later you can add distress ink. I taped a few things off and then applied transfer get over all the cupcake wrappers using stencil 2. 
2. (center photo)When it was dry I turned on the laminator and let it heat well. I applied foil (colored side up) put it in between parchment paper and used my laminator (ps. If you use the transfer gel duo you can also apply the foil with pressure by using your die cutting machine).
3. (right photo) I applied red glitz glitter gel to add the last layer of the stencil to get the sparkly sprinkles.

Blue Skies Ahead Card by Samantha Mann

Blue Skies Ahead!

Know someone who has been down or under the weather? This card by Samantha is sure to cheer anyone up! For this card she features two panda umbrellas from our Umbrella Pals Stamp Set. She colored the pandas in soft neutrals and added pretty pink cheeks and white gel pen accents! The images were cut out using the coordinating Umbrella Pals Die Set. 

For the card she created an amazing rainbow background using our Sunscape Stencil. She filled each sun ray with a different rainbow foil! So beautiful! Then she added blue inked areas between the rays with distress inks, adding lots of water and white ink splatters! Across the card top she added layers of clouds using our Sky Borders Die Set. The sentiment was embossed in white onto black cardstock and she fussy cut it out before adding it onto the cloudy sky.  

What a gorgeous and cheerful card! It's sure to brighten anyone's day!

Kitty Themed Thank You Card by Amanda Wilcox

Kitty Themed Thank You!

Today we are sharing a kitty themed card by Amanda that is purr-fect for sending a special note of thanks!  

For this adorable card, Amanda started out by stamping the sweet duo of kittens from our Smitten Kittens Stamp Set. She colored them to look like her own two cats and used the coordinating Smitten Kittens Die Set to cut the image out. 

For the card background she used our Bokeh Hearts Stencil Set to create a gorgeous bokeh pattern using shades of blue ink with the two piece stencil set. Then she added the sentiment "thanks so much" from our Floral Roundabout Stamp Set, stamped onto a pink banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set.

To add more of feline theme, she also added the sentiment "you're the cat's meow" from the Smitten Kittens Stamp Set.She stamped it inside a speech bubble that was cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set.  Some white paint splatters and heart embellishments add the perfect finishing touches!

Here is a close up so you can see all the gorgeous details.
