Cozy Cats & Dogs with Coffees

It's Jen Jackson here (owner of Newton's Nook Designs) and for our stop on the hop I created two fun cards featuring a cat and dog drinking coffee!

For my first card I used our Cat Builder Die Set to die cut out that adorable kitty! I added a sweater to the kitty using the new Holiday Accessories Die Set. Then I added a coffee into his paws using the Coffee Silhouettes Die Set!

For the card background I used pretty sweater prints from our Lovely Knits Paper Pack. I choose 3 prints that I thought would be fun together and then used our Card Layout 7 Die to cut them out. I used the green basic knit pattern for the outside border and two of the decorative sweater prints for the two top cut outs. I cut it again from green for the bottom cut out. The great thing about this die is that now that I have it cut out three times I can make two more cards with the extra pieces. I'll just rotate where the pieces are within the frame to use them on two more cards.

Once I assembled the background I added the sentiment "'Tis the Season to be COZY" from the new Cozy Sweater Cats Stamp Set. Can you tell that our new release has a sweater theme? 

My second card uses the same themes but this time it features a die cut dog! I created the dog using our Dog Builder Die Set and added the sweater using our new Holiday Accessories Die Set. Again, I added a coffee into his paws using the Coffee Silhouettes Die Set!

On this card I used Card Layout 4 Die to create the background. I chose three more pretty sweater prints from the Lovely Knits Paper Pack and cut them all out with the die. I also cut it from ivory cardstock for the frame. Again, just like the last card I now have extra die cuts to make two more cards! I love that so much!

To finish this card I added the die cut sentiment using the Thanks a Latte Die Set. That means that this card was completely created using die cuts! I'm having so much fun with our Dog and Cat Builder Dies! It's been so fun to dress them up for the holidays and I was excited to try them with our coffee themed products too! I hope you like it!
