Celebrate a Birthday!

Today we are sharing a cheerful birthday card by Larissa using our newest birthday themed products!

She starts out by die cutting the fun background panel using our Card Layout 3 Die Set and Birthday Time Paper Pad. She used the die to cut out the same shape from several different pages of the patterned paper and then arranged them inside the outer frame to create a fun and colorful birthday themed background!

Next she stamped and colored the cute little cupcake using the Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set. She layered the cupcake onto a postage stamp that was cut out using our Postage Stamp Layout Die Set. This die set creates a whole panel of postage stamps but you can cut them apart to use them as individual stamps and that is what Larissa did for her card today! She added the cupcake along with the word celebrate and the five cents from the Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set

Behind the cupcake stamp she created a cute little shaker shape using small rounded rectangles that were cut out from iridescent vellum using our Basic Frames Die Set. She created a pocket with the two rectangles, added sparkly shapes inside and stitched the edges. What a fun way to add a special touch to the birthday card!
