Here is what I created for the hop today:

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop | Christmas card by Jennifer using Destination Christmas Stamp Set and Slimline Dies by Newton's Nook Designs

Today I created this fun slimline card using the adorable holiday vehicles from our Destination Christmas Stamp Set. This set is filled with fun cars, trucks, and a van laden with holiday gifts and decor. I stamped the van, station wagon and truck onto Bristol paper with waterproof ink. Then I colored the images using Zig clean color watercolor markers. I love the look of watercolor and the fun bright colors. Once the images were colored I used the coordinating Destination Christmas Die Set to cut them out.

Next, I decided I wanted to create a slimline card. I used both of our Slimline die sets to create this. I used the scalloped frame from the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. Then I layered the frame with square windows from our Slimline Frames and Windows Die Set over that.

I wanted it to look like the vehicles were driving down a road so I added a strip of grey along the bottom of each square and layered a hill above it using our Land Borders Die Set with some green polka dot paper. I cut each of these pieces with the Slimline Frames and Windows Die Set too, to make sure they all had the stitched edge. I also made sure to line up the hills so it looks like one continuous scene. To complete the scenes, I added snow to the white squares using our Petite Snow Stencil with some blue ink.

Once this was all assembled, I added the sentiment "deck the hauls" from our Destination Christmas Stamp Set, embossed in white onto a black banner that was cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set

I love how this turned out! It will be perfect for sending Holiday greetings across the miles!
