Hello everyone! Here's my second post as a guest designer and I have 2 cards for you today. The kitty from Newton's Birthday Balloons is so cute I couldn't decide on a feminine or masculine card, so I made both.

Here's the grey kitty with blue, teal and green balloons and present. I cut out the image and glazed the balloons for a shiny look.

To make the background I masked off the sides and then ink blended the centre with Tumbled glass and Salty Ocean Distress inks. Then I ink blended Peacock feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks through the Confetti Stencil. I added 2 cute sentiments on small flags ink blended with Twisted citron and Mowed lawn.

Here's the white kitty with pink, purple and violet balloons and present. I cut out the image and before I glazed the balloons I gave them a good run over with a clear sparkle pen.

For the background I ink blended Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord Distress oxide inks. I then stamped the sentiment using Dusty concord - the oxide inks can totally be used for stamping! Finally I placed the Cloudy Sky Stencil over the panel and applied a clear and very sparkly glimmer paste. I love the amount of sparkle and the texture it adds to a card.

I hope you found some useful inspiration. Happy crafting!
