Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week - Day 3 - Ruby Naz

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws - Newton's Nook Designs

Welcome to day three of our Deck the Halls with Inky Paws week!

Each day this week we will have a new awesome featured guest and then a BIG blog hop on Friday, December 9th (with some give-aways, of course!) So make sure you come back and visit us every day!

Today's Featured guest is Ruby Naz

I am in my early 30s and discovered papercrafting about two years ago. Professionally, I am a social worker, but I spend a lot of my downtime creating cards. Some of my favorite techniques include heat embossing and watercoloring. I enjoy trying different styles from clean and simple to layered. I love bright colors. Most of my cards focus on florals or cute critters. I have done a lot of guest design work and have been on a few Design Teams. Each opportunity challenges me to grow and improve my craft. I am so grateful to be a guest for Newton's Nook Designs! You can find me at A Rare Ruby, where I share my work and so much more.

Here's what Ruby created!

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week - Day 3 - Ruby Naz | One Layer Pine Tree card | Whispering Pines stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook

Ruby created this beautiful one layer card using our Whispering Pines stamp set! She stamped the trees in different shades of green to create a whole forest of pines and added the dog silhouette in the front. The "thinking of you" sentiment is also from the our Whispering Pines stamp set.  The added splatters really give it a fun finishing touch!

Thanks so much, Ruby for being our guest today! She will be back for our Deck the Halls with Inky Paws blog hop on Friday, December 9th. Until then, you can visit her at her blog, A Rare Ruby to read more about her adorable projects and say hello!

Tomorrow we will have special Guest Jessica Frost-Ballas from All the Sparkle
so make sure you take some time to come back and visit us again!
