Paw-some Birthday!

If anyone on your upcoming birthday list likes dogs, this card by Samantha is sure to make them smile. The star of this card is an adorable puppy from our Puppy Playtime Stamp Set. Sam colored the puppy, birthday hat and dog bone from the set and cut them out using the coordinating Puppy Playtime Die Set. Doesn't he look so cute and mischievous? 

To make it even more of a party, she added balloons, stamped from our Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set and cut out with the coordinating Fabulous Frenchies Die Set. She added the sentiment, "Have a paw-some birthday" which is also from the Fabulous Frenchies Stamp Set, embossed in white on a black banner. 

For the card base, she inked up a background using distress inks and added paw prints with our Pawprints Stencil. What a gorgeous color scheme! It really lets the balloons pop!

Monarchs Duo Card Set by Larissa Heskett

Gorgeous Butterfly Cards!

Today Larissa is featuring a gorgeous way to create a set of cards that is also quick and easy! To create this duo of card she stamped and embossed a bunch of white butterflies on two card front panels using our Monarchs Stamp Set. Then she simply blended orange ink over the top to create a gorgeous pattern. She added some black paint splatters and sequins for texture and sparkle. For the sentiments, she chose two phrases from our Floral Roundabout Stamp Set and stamped them onto rounded edge banners from our Banner Trio Die Set. Then she layered a coordinating patterned paper behind each panel, die cutting the scalloped edge with our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Toucan Do It Card by Samantha Mann

Toucan Do It!

Today we are heading to the tropics with this card by Samantha. Our adorable toucans from our Toucan Party Stamp Set are featured on this amazing inspirational creation. She colored two of the birds along with several branches and leaves from this set in awesome bright colors. Everything was cut out using the coordinating Toucan Party Die Set. For the beautiful background she used our Tropical Leaves Stencil with a rainbow of ink colors! So gorgeous! 

The finishing touch is the fun way she added the sentiment. She embossed the words from the Toucan Party Stamp Set in white on pink and yellow cardstock. Then she layered it over a black bubble from our 

Speech Bubbles Die Set to really make it pop!

This card is so fun and cheerful! It is sure to send smiles to the recipient!

Kitty Birthday Cake Slimline Card by Tina Herbeck

A Kitty Birthday Card!

Today Tina is sharing an adorable slimline birthday card featuring two of our favorite Newton stamp sets! In the center she features the kitty with the cake from our Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set and the kitties on the top and bottom are stamped from our Newton's Antics Stamp Set. She added birthday hats to all three kitties using the birthday hat from the Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set. Each kitty is colored with unique fur colors using copic markers.  She also added on the toy mouse, heart, toy ball and ball of yarn from our Newton's Antics Stamp Set. Since she changed the image shapes by adding the hats she used her Scan N Cut to cut out the images. But if you want to add the hats on separately you could cut everything out using the coordinating dies too (Newton's Antics Die Set, Newton Loves Cake Die Set). 

To create the slimline card, she used cut a purple scallop edged frame using our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. On top of that she added the frame with 3 square windows from our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set. Each window has an ink blended square behind it that was created using our Slimline Masking Circles & Squares Stencil Set with distress inks. This stencil is sized to coordinate perfectly with the square window frames! 

She also mixed the sentiments from the Newton's Antics Stamp Set and Newton Loves Cake Stamp Set to create a fun kitty themed message inside each window.

Herd it's your Baa-thday Card by Zsofia Molnar

Farm Animals Birthday Card!

Today we are sharing an adorable birthday card by Zsofia that features cute animals from several of our farm themed products! She used the cow from our Moo Stamp Set, the pig from our Oink Stamp Set, the horse from our Neigh Stamp Set and the sheep from our Baa Stamp Set. She colored all these adorable farm friends and cut them out using the coordinating Moo Die Set, Oink Die Set, Neigh Die Set, and Baa Die Set. 

Then she created a fun square card for these cuties using the stitched scalloped square and the rounded square dies from our Frames Squared Die Set to make a window frame. She layered the frame over some checkered paper and then tucked an animal into each corner. In the center she used added a decorative die cut shape in light blue and a circle in black, also from our Frames Squared Die Set. The sentiment is from Baa Stamp Set and was embossed in white on the black circle. It's so fun how all these critters surround the sentiment! 

This fun birthday card would be perfect for a young girl or boy  - or for anyone who likes funny puns!

Happiness Is... Card by March Guest Designer Jane Trivedi

Hi everyone! 
Jane here sharing this rainbow colored card using the adorable Sips and Stories Stamp Set set by Newton’s Nook Designs.

To create the rainbow background, I first taped the Serene Stripes Stencil to a piece of white card stock and used a scrap piece of post-it tape in the center to create a mask. Next, I ink blended a rainbow of colors using the following distress ink colors: carved pumpkin, worn lipstick, candied apple, seedless preserves, mermaid lagoon, cracked pistachio and squeezed lemonade. After removing the mask, the panel was cut using a paper trimmer to 5 inches by 3.75 inches and adhered to a white A2 card base using foam tape.

The image was stamped in copic-friendly black ink on white card stock and colored using copic markers. White gel pen was used to add highlights and texture. The image was then cut using scissors and mounted to the card front using foam tape. The sentiment is also from the Sips and Stories Stamp Set and was stamped on the card front using black ink.

Yee-haw Birthday Card by Samantha Mann

Saddle Up for Birthday Fun!

Yee-haw! Today we are saddling up for a fun birthday wish with Newton on this fun card by Samantha. For her card today, she features the kitty riding a toy horse from the Newton Rides West Stamp Set. She colored the image in fun vibrant colors, adding stripes the kitties fur and a fun rainbow of color the the horse mane! So cute!  She also stamped and colored three cactuses from the same set and the cut everything out using the coordinating Newton Rides West Die Set. 

For her scene she created an awesome sky using distress inks in shades of blue and then added clouds over the top using our Cloudy Sky Stencil. For the desert, she created layers of sand using our Sea Borders Die Set and Sky Borders Die Set for curvy stitched borders. Then she added distress inks in browns to the layers, along with paint splatters to make it look like he's kicking up the dust! 

A black bubble from our Speech Bubbles Die Set hold the "Yee-haw" sentiment and she also added "Saddle Up & celebrate," both from the Newton Rides West Stamp Set.
