March Release - Reveal Day 1 - Hello Spring

Today is our First Reveal day for our March Release and we are featuring the new Hello Spring stamp set! We are giving the stamp set away to one lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!

Thank you to everyone who voted last week to help name our bunny! Her name is "Lily"! 

On her first feature 4x6 set our Bunny, Lily, is ready to welcome spring! She’s so cute with her big carrot and tulip bouquet! Add in the eggs to create Easter cards or use the flowers to create adorable spring greetings! The cute little chicks included will make anyone smile, especially when used with the with the “you crack me up” sentiment!

First up is this adorable card by our March Guest Designer, Kelly Latevola! She combined the bunny and eggs from the  Hello Spring stamp set with the cute wagon from the Wagon of Wishes stamp set! Such a fun little scene! 

Nina-Marie created this beautiful garden of tulips and bunny using no-line coloring! I love the soft look this has - so sweet and springy!

I love the sweet rows of carrots on this adorable card by Lydia! She also used the sign from our Winter Tails stamp set combined with the "I carrot about you" sentiment. Such a fun idea!  

Such a sweet Easter card by Kimberly! It's so cute how she used no-line coloring on the bunny. I also love the mix of pastel plaid and burlap!

This adorable Easter card is by Jess! I love the bright colored she used behind the flower, chick and butterfly! So cheerful! 

Here is an adorable card by Yukari! What a fun little spring scene she created! I love the chick jumping on the hill and the sweet bunny with the pearls on her ear! So fun! 

Samantha created this lovely card! I love how she embossed the tulips in white and inked over them! So striking!

Awww! I love the basket of tulips Larissa created! It's a big as the bunny! Such a fun idea!!

This card by Crafty Math-Chick will CRACK you up! I love how she stamped the cracked egg upside down! Too cute!!

Another sweet bunny card for spring! I love the fun colors that Stephanie used on this - and the cloud border is super cute!!

I love how Danielle used just the tiny carrot stamp and made it the focal point of her card! That background is so fun!

Meet Kelly!

Today I want to give a warm welcome to our guest designer this month - Kelly Latevola! She will be posting with our Design Team for our March release this week! We are so excited to have Kelly stamping with us this month! She is going to wow you with her amazing cards!

"Hi Guys I'm Kelly! I am married to a wonderful man and we have one little bundle of never ending energy, Nathan, who is 2. Nathan's best friend is our dog Molly who is a boxer/mastiff mix.  My style of card making is pretty Clean and Simple. I sometimes venture into the Clean and Layered but even then my design isn't very busy. I do love a good one layer card, especially if it's a scene! I'm a big fan of encouraging and supporting each other as crafters. I do a series on my blog called CASEing Genius which features artists of all styles and skill levels. We all started somewhere :) If you're interested you can check that out here. I'm so honored to be joining the talented team here at Newton's Nook for this month! I can't wait to see all the fabulous creations they put out :)

All week we have been featuring Bunny cards from the Design Team to get you excited for a NEW bunny set next week! PLUS - we are holding a poll to choose a name for the bunny character! Details for the voting are at the end of this post. 

Bunny Week Cards - day 6:

We don't usually post on Saturday but I decided to throw up an "extra" post! I couldn't resist getting out a set with the bunny to play along with the Design team after seeing all the fun bunny cards this week! Here is what I created:

For my card, I created a fun watercolor background with green and yellow and then colored the cute bunny with the flower pot from the Garden Whimsy stamp set with copics. I fussy cut the cutie out and added her onto the card front. Then I used the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Simply Sentimental stamp set to make it into a birthday card! I don't know about you, but I NEVER seem to have enough birthday cards on hand!

Bunny Week Cards - day 5:

Today we have bunny inspiration from Nina-Marie and Larissa!

Nina-Marie created this adorable neon card using the cheerleader bunny from the Touchdown Tails stamp set! I love the bright neon stripes and the fun hot pink and yellow coloring on her cheerleading uniform too! This card is so cheerful - plus it's a shaker card - and that always makes a card fun when there is a bit of interaction! 

Larissa created two adorable cards using our Bunny Hop Stamp set! I wasn't including this set at first as one of the bunny character sets since the silhouette of the head is different on it, but when you only see the butt, I think it could definitely be the same bunny, don't you?? LOL! I love how Larissa added a pom-pom tail on this one and that pastel plaid is so perfect for spring! 

And because she was having so much fun, here is another bunny card by Larissa! I love how she did some beautiful and creative masking to create a scene and added in the flower pots and flowers from the Versatile Vases stamp set and the sign from the Winter Tails stamp set! The "Wishing you a day filled with sunshine" is from the Newton's Daydream stamp set! Wow. What a fun combo of images!!

Kimberly created this sweet Easter card using the bunny from the Garden Whimsy stamp set! I love how she did "no line" coloring to give the image a soft, hand drawn feel! I love the bright yellow polka dots! So springy! She also grabbed the "Hoppy Easter" sentiment from the Bunny Hop Stamp set. 

Stephanie created this sweet spring card, also using the bunny from the Garden Whimsy stamp set. I love the scene she created with the fun fence behind the bunny and the beautiful watercoloring!

Bunny Week Cards - day 3:

Today we have bunny inspiration from Yuki and Danielle!

Yuki created this delightful bunny card using our Touchdown Tails stamp set! Isn't the bunny so adorable in that cheerleader outfit? I love how the "hip-hip-hooray" sentiment can be used for many different occasions. Yuki created a birthday card but it would work for any sort of celebration! I love the fun geometric embossed background too! Super fun! 

This groovy card by Danielle puts me in the mood for summer - although it's barely even spring yet - LOL! I think this stamp of the bunny in the hula skirt from the Beach Party stamp set is one of my favorites! The fun inked shapes and splatters really add such a fun touch to this card! Adorable!!
