For her card she used the new Card Layout 6 Die Set. She cut the frame from white cardstock and used the polka dot paper from the Happy Easter Paper Pack to cut the inside panels. Over that she layered a scalloped circle (cut using the Circle Frames Die Set) and layered the bunnies and flowers over the circle. She also added a banner (cut using the Banner Trio Die Set). She added some fun splatters to the banner for added texture and stamped the message "Happy Spring" using the Springtime Bunnies Stamp Set.
This fun combination of stamps and dies makes such and adorable spring card!

To create the shaker window she cut out two rows of easter eggs directly from her white card front using the Easter Egg Builder Die Set. She set aside the decorative centers while she made the shaker. She inked a paper panel with a rainbow of distress ink colors to layer behind the openings. Between the two layers she added a clear pocket filled with pretty sparkles. Then she adhered the Easter egg patterns back into the egg cut outs to finish the shaker windows.
For this card I used the Card Layout 6 Die 4 times. First ,I cut it from white cardstock and used just the frame. Next, I cut it from two pieces of patterned paper (carrots and basketweave) from the Happy Easter Paper Pack. Last, I cut it from light green cardstock for the center spot. On the last cut I used a piece of cardstock that was 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and placed it just over the center since I didn't need the frame or side panels.
On this card I used the Card Layout 6 Die again, but this time I only cut it out twice. I cut it once from yellow cardstock and once from white. The yellow will be the frame and the white is for the center piece.
Next, I used the Corner Flip Die Set to cut out the side panels. This die has two pieces and each piece includes a score line angled in one of the corners. I cut out both pieces twice, using a piece of patterned paper from the Happy Easter Paper Pack. Since the pattern on this card doesn't have a specific direction, I could place the dies anywhere on the paper.
After the pieces were cut I folded them on the score lines. This flips the paper to one side and each piece will now fit into one of the openings on the sides of the frame.
But here's where it's different. At step 2, I chose two different papers and one of the papers that I chose (the pink bunnies) is a vertical print. So you need to cut it like this:
Place your paper with the pattern vertical and place the die vertically over the top. When you die cut, the angled line should be face down on the bottom.
Cut the same paper again with the pattern vertically and the die vertically but rotate the die 180 degrees so that the angled score line is at the top.
It might seem like a lot to remember but once you give it a try it should make sense and is easy to do again. I've also created a video that you can watch to see the creation of these cards in more detail.
I hope you enjoyed these projects today and are inspired to give these new die sets a try. It's so much fun to use BOTH sides of our patterned papers! I can't wait to try it with other paper packs!

To begin, Donna cut a stitched rectangle out of white cardstock using our Frames & Flags Die Set. Then she stamped the image from our Newton's Birthday Trio Stamp Set onto the die cut panel. This cute image includes a trio of kitties along with a little bird, all wishing you a happy birthday!
To continue the birthday theme, Donna chose a pretty patterned paper filled with balloons from our Birthday Time Paper Pack. She cut the paper out using the Frames & Flags Die Set to give it the scalloped edge. Then she layered the two pieces together to create a fun and simple birthday card!
This sweet birthday card would be purr-fect to send to a cat lover!
