Santa's Gone to the Beach Card by Samantha Mann

Santa's Gone to the Beach!

Santa is so cute chilling out at the beach on this adorable card by Samantha! Maybe he's just finished wrapping his gifts and is relaxing in the waves!

The adorable Santa image is from our Sun Soaked Christmas Stamp Set. She colored the image using watercolor markers and then fussy cut it out. For the awesome beachy scene she creates waves using our Sea Borders Die Set and a beach using the hill from our Land Borders Die Set. Then she added color to them using a whole bunch of distress inks. For the sea she used Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. For the land she used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber and for the sky she used Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon.

She embossed the sentiment "Gone to the beach, Love Santa" from our Sun Soaked Christmas Stamp Set onto the blue sky with white embossing powder. She also stamped the image of the Palm trees with the stockings and gifts from the Sun Soaked Christmas Stamp Set onto the beach. She stamped this image a second time on white paper and colored it so she could fussy cut and layer the trees, gifts and stockings over the top without having to fussy cut the tiny line that the stockings are on!

She did an amazing job with her fussy cutting but if you don't like to fussy cut, you could use the coordinating Sun Soaked Christmas Die Set too.

Oh, and did you notice the fun pom-pom she added onto Santa's hat!? So cute!
