Hydrangeas for Mom!
Mother's Day is just around the corner! Have you made your mom a card yet? If not, hopefully today's project will inspire you! I used our new Lovely Blooms stamp set to create this card. I started out by stamping they hydrangeas, leaves, stems, and little flowers on Neenah solar white paper and colored them with copic markers. I knew I wanted to use the hydrangeas and those little flowers compliment them so well in a bouquet! Once they were all colored I cut them all out using the coordinating Lovely Blooms Die Set.
I wanted you to be able to see the stems through the jar image so I stamped the jar onto vellum with versamark ink and embossed it with silver embossing powder. Then it was time to assemble it all together. I laid it out to figure how I wanted everything to fit and then glued the pieces in place. Some of blooms were attached with foam adhesive to give the card a bit of dimension. After everything was in place, I added a tiny bow made from blue twine too.
To finish off the card, I added washi tape in a couple of colors that coordinated with the images and then I stamped "AMAZING mother" using words from the Lovely Blooms stamp set. This set also has sister, daughter, grandma, and friend included so it can be used for many other occasions besides Mother's Day too!
Hope you enjoyed this project today!
