Gone to the Beach Card by November Guest Designer Gladys Marcelino

Hello everyone! Gladys here and I'm sharing my last card as the guest designer for the month of November. I love the Sun Soaked Christmas stamp set because I  grew up in Hawaii and these images are relatable as to how we spend our Christmas in paradise. I  wanted to make a postcard with Santa on the floater relaxing in the ocean with his drink. Here is what my card looks like:

I decided I wanted to make a shaker card so I cut my card panel using a postage die and colored the negative part with distress inks. I used several colors: peacock feathers, salty ocean, and blueprint sketch. I colored Santa with copic markers and glued him onto the colored panel. I adhered foam tape on the back of the frame and added my shaker components. To make it look like a postcard I glued the red and white frame border. For my sentiment I cut a white cardstock using a small tag die cut then stamped the sentiment from the set and tied it on a piece of twine.
