Happy Halloween!

Halloween is just around the corner and today we are sharing a fun duo of Halloween projects by Ellen

First, she created a fun little treat bag for Halloween candy:

To decorate this bag she created a glittery bat background using our Flying Bats Stencil with some glittery texture gel. She added the "trick or treat" sentiment from the Happy Howl-Oween Stamp Set, embossed on the little round black tag that was die cut our Tags Time Two Die Set. She also added a candy corn from our Candy Corn Stamp Set and other little candies from the Hoppy Halloween Stamp Set, cutting them out with their coordinating Hoppy Halloween Die Set and Candy Corn Die Set

Next, she created an amazing Halloween card using our Batty Newton Stamp Set:

She started out by coloring the adorable image of the kitty in the bat costume from the Batty Newton Stamp Set in fun bright colors adding speckles and striped details to the fur! She cut this image along with the little bats from the same set using the coordinating Batty Newton Die Set. Then she created a gorgeous purple sky for the bat using distress inks. She added a moon into the sky using our Sky Scene Builder Die Set. She also added layers of clouds along the bottom using our Sky Borders Die Set. The whole scene is framed by a lime green frame with a scalloped edge that was cut using our Frames & Flags Die Set. This ties in perfectly with the green bat wings!

She also decorated the envelope for the card to go in:

She added the name but cutting out letters using our Essential Alphabet Die Set and placing them onto a ticket shape that was cut out using our Framework Die Set. She added on a tiny bat and stars from our Witchy Newton Stamp Set too. Then she added the same glittery texture to the envelope flap, again using our Flying Bats Stencil with a glittery texture gel!
