Patchwork Foiling with Stencils!

Today we have are sharing FOUR gorgeous thank you cards by Larissa using our stencils with foils! She created a technique she calls "Patchwork Foiling" to use multiple colors of foil on a card. She has more specific details on her technique on her blog today here if you'd like to learn how she did this fun technique!

On the first card she used our Holiday Foliage Stencil with various foils on a black cardstock background. She added on the "truly grateful" sentiment from the Shades of Autumn Stamp Set, embossed in gold on a white banner layered over a vellum banner. The banners were cut out using the Frames and Flags Die Set.

For her second card she used the same foil technique and also used the Holiday Foliage Stencil but this time she tried it on white cardstock with red, green, gold and silver foils. She stamped the "sending a million thanks" sentiment using words from the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set on a black banner layered over a vellum banner. The banners were cut out again using the Frames and Flags Die Set.

She also tried a couple of cards using the Snowfall Stencil. For the first one she used it on black cardstock with blue and silver foils. She added the "from our family to yours" sentiment from the Flaky Family Stamp Set and layered it over a vellum banner cut out using the Frames and Flags Die Set

Aren't these cards just stunning? The sparkly foil in multiple colors really gives the card a feeling of specialness!  Don't forget to visit Larissa over at her blog, Larissa Heskett Designs, to see more details on her fun foiling technique today!
