Truly Grateful  

Have the leaves started turning color where you live? We are definitely getting excited for Fall! Today, Zsofia created this beautiful Fall card featuring the leaves from our Shades of Autumn Stamp Set. This set features leaves with a fun texture on them, which she stamped in several beautiful fall colors. Then she added some dots with an embossing pen and heat embossed it with gold sparkle embossing powder. What a beautiful effect! She also embossed the sentiment from the Shades of Autumn Stamp Set over the top of the leaves.  She cut the panel of leaves out using our Framework Die Set to give it a postage stamp edge. Then she mounted it on a kraft card panel and added a bit of twine.

Extra Mice Fall Card by October Guest Designer Noga Shefer

Today we have our first post from our October Guest Designer, Noga Shefer. We fell in love with her adorable creations on instagram and can't wait to see what she creates this month using NND products! We hope you will enjoy her projects and she will inspire you each week! Hi :) my name is Noga and I am so thrilled to guest designing this month for the amazing NND! I live in Israel, married to Yaniv and have two cute boys and two dogs. In the morning I work in marketing in our nursery and at night I create cards. This is my therapy :) I have been crafting since September 2016. I love to watch cardmaking tutorials in YouTube and to learn new techniques. I can't wait to sharing my NND projects with you!

Hi crafty friends, I am so thrilled to guest designing this month for the amazing Newtons Nook Designs.

I am really excited about it and extremely grateful for this opportunity.

My card featuring Autumn Mice Stamp Set and Autumn Mice Die Set .
This set is just perfect addition to your stash.

To make this card I took an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. The background was created by blending  broken china distress oxide ink for the sky and twisted citron distress oxide ink  for the grass.

I spritzed some water onto it and soaked it up with paper towel and

splattered twisted citron distress oxide ink on the grass.

Next I colored the images using copic markers. 

I glued them to my panel with foam tape for dimension. 

Next I stamped a greeting from this set using white embossing powder and heat embossed it.

To finish off, I added some clear sequins for decoration.

Never Stop Dreaming Interactive Card by Andrea Shell

Just a Little Note!

This sweet hot air ballon card by Andrea is sure to uplift your day! She created this card using image of the kitty in the hot air balloon from our Newton Dreams of Paris Stamp Set. She colored the image in cheerful bright colors using copic markers. She cut the image out using the Newton Dreams of Paris Die Set. She added the image onto a wobbler before adding it to her card so that it sways back in forth in the sky! (scroll down to the end of this post to see a little video)

For the sky, she used our Clouds Stencil to create layers of clouds in different pastel colors! So pretty! She also used our Hills & Grass Stencil to ink a hill along the bottom and stamped the sentiment onto the hill from our Cosmic Newton Stamp Set. The whole background panel was cut out using the scallop edged die from our Frames & Flags Die Set.

Merry Everything Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Merry Everything! 

Have you started on your Christmas cards yet? Today we have a gorgeous ornament card by Tatiana that will help put you in a holiday mood! She used our Ornamental Shaker Die Set to create a mask for the two ornament shapes. She layered our Snowfall Stencil over the mask and used deco foil transfer gel from Therm O Web on it. Once the gel was dry she add the blue flock by layering it over the top of the stenciled pattern and sending it through a heat laminator. This gives the ornaments a fun textured look and feels fuzzy too! She added the silver ornament tops, using glitter paper with our Ornamental Shaker Die Set. In the corner she added the "Merry Everything" sentiment from our Sentiments of the Season Stamp Set, embossed with silver embossing powder.

Flying By to Say...Card by Nakaba Rager

Flying By...

Get ready for sky high cuteness with this card by Naki! She created this adorable airplane scene using Winston driving an airplane from our Winston Takes Flight Stamp Set. She stamped the image, using sparkly silver embossing powder on the edges and then colored it using pearly watercolors. She cut the image out using the coordinating Winston Takes Flight Die Set and added it onto a wobbler so the plane wobbles in the sky on her card! For the background she added two layers of clouds using the Clouds Stencil along the top and the Sky Borders Die Set along the bottom, giving a nice dimension to the sky! She also added in some sparkly stars using our Cascading Stars Stencil along with some sparkly embossing paste! It's so cool how much sparkle and shine this card has!

Wishing You a Spooky Halloween Card by Holly Endress

Get ready for a Spooky Halloween!

It's October 1st today so we are getting in the mood for Halloween! This spooky card by Holly should help you be inspired to create some spooky greetings! She used our Creepy Cameos Stamp Set to create a trio of fun frames. She stamped and embossed the black frames from the set and cut them out using the coordinating Creepy Cameos Die Set. She added purple to the centers and then layered the silhouette images, also from the Creepy Cameos Stamp Set over them. For the background she added bats using our Flying Bats Stencil and added gray ink around the edges for a spooky look! So perfect for Halloween!
