Balloon Filled Birthday Card by Farhana Sarker
Happy Birthday!
Today we are sharing a fun clean and simple birthday card by Farhana. For this card she features our Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set and our Happy Birthday Die Set.
She began by creating a balloon filled background by using our Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set with pink, purple and teal distress inks. This stencil has two pieces that you can use to create a layered pattern and she used both pieces on this card. Using both pieces creates a fun effect where it looks like the balloons are overlapping each other.
What a beautiful birthday card! And, best of all, it's super simple to make! Perfect for a last minute birthday wish!

The fun scallop shaped card base was created using our using the Frames & Flags Die Set with red cardstock. For the beautiful gold background she stamped the blooms from the Christmas Cactus Die Set onto gold cardstock using clear Versamark ink. Then she added gold embossing powder and heat set. The gold panel was then cut out into the banner shape using the Basic Frames Die Set. So gorgeous!

Festive Kitty Cards by Jennifer Jackson
Have a Meowy Christmas!
For this card I chose the image from our Newton's Gift Stamp Set. This image has a blank tag on the front of the gift and a bunch of different sentiments that fit inside! It's perfect for creating a custom message for your card. For mine I chose "Fa la la la MEOW!" So cute! I colored the image with watercolor markers and cut it out using the Newton's Gift Die Set. and then layered it onto the card over a circle cut out with vellum using our Circle Frames Die Set.
I hope my projects today have shown you how easy it is to make a bunch of cards using the Card Layout 5 Die. Once you cut it out a few times you have a bunch of pieces you can mix and match to make a variety of fun cards. Just add an image to the center and your card is done! So easy! I still have a few pieces left over after I made these three cards. I store my extra pieces in a ziploc bag and then I have them ready to go the next time I have some creative time!

Let it Snow Flat Shaker Card by Farhana Sarker
Let it Snow!!
Today we are sharing another clean and simple card by Farhana. For this card she features our Let it Snow Die Set and Snowfall Die Set to create a simpler flat shaker card.
She created the background by ink blending a card panel with distress inks in tones of mint, purple and pink. She then inserted the panel into a clear envelope and added some glitter before sealing it to create a glittery shaker background for her card.
She then created snowy front of the card by die cutting three snowflakes out of the a white card front panel using our Snowfall Die Set. She adhered this to the clear envelope, adding back in the inner pieces of the snowflakes that had been separated when they were cut off the edges of the white panel.
To create the sentiment in the center she ink blended another piece of cardstock using the same ink colors as the background. She then die cut the sentiment using our Let it Snow Die Set.
We love the simplicity of this card and how it is made special by the glitter and ink blending!

Let it Snow Card by Donna Idlet
Let it Snow!
Are you ready for snow? We already had one snowy day at NND Headquarters. It melted right away but it did remind us that the holidays will be here soon!
Today we are sharing a gorgeous snowy card by Donna featuring our new Let it Snow and Snowfall die sets!
To create this beautiful card Donna cut out a teal stitched paper panel using our Basic Frames Die Set. Then she cut out a bunch of snowflakes using our new Snowfall Die Set. She layered each snowflake, stacking three of the same shape to create dimension. She then layered the snowflakes over the teal stitched panel and then cut off the parts that extended beyond the edges of the panel.
Next she cut out the message using our Let it Snow Die Set. She cut the words out three times, stacked them for dimension and then added glossy accents to the top. This die set includes a shadow die too and she cut that out of vellum and layered it behind the words. So beautiful!
She adhered the teal stitched panel over a white scalloped frame that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set.
