Here is what I created for the hop today:
Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop! Christmas Trimmings Card by Jennifer Jackson | Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
Today I created this fun Holiday card using the festive ladies working on Holiday preparations from our Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set. I colored both images using copic markers and used the coordinating Christmas Trimmings Die Set to cut them out. I also cut a white scalloped rectangle using our Frames & Flags Die Set. I added both ladies to this rectangle along with the sentiment.

For the fun background pattern I used our Ornaments Stencil with white embossing paste over a red paper. I love the color and texture this gives the card! Then I thought it needed a little more pop of color so I cut out a scalloped edge using our Sky Borders Die Set and some teal paper. I added this along the side and finished it off with some white bakers twine. And done! Easier than putting up Christmas decorations, right!?

This adorable card by Barbara will put you in the mood to get out the holiday decorations if you haven't yet! What a fantastic idea and so festive!

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week - Day 3 - Chari Moss

Welcome to day three of our Deck the Halls with Inky Paws week!

Each day this week we will have a new awesome featured guest and then a BIG blog hop on Friday, December 6th (with some give-aways, of course!) So make sure you come back and visit us every day!

Today's Featured guest is Chari Moss

Hi my name is Chari Moss and I live in the mountains of NC. I work as an architect by day and get crafty in the evenings. I like bright and happy designs with lots of color and enjoy creating scenes with cute stamped images.

Here's what Chari created:

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week - Day 3 - Chari Moss | Tri Fold Winter Scene Card using Festive Fawns Stamp Set and Evergreens Stencil by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
Chari created an amazing tall tri-folding winter scene that will melt your heart! She used the adorable deer images from our Festive Fawns Stamp Set. She colored the sweet deer pulling the gifts and the deer wearing a wreath in festive colors. She also added a bit of shimmer to the red berries. Behind the deer she a created a winter forest, adding trees that were stenciled using our Evergreen Stencil. She added a bit of glitter to the edges of the stenciled branches too for an extra special touch.

Here is how the tri-fold card opens:

Once you open the right side, you see just the scene with the deer and wreath. Isn't it cool how she cut around the stenciled trees to make a fun folded shape?

Then you can fold the other side open:

This reveals a new scene that was hidden by the other layers! In this center scene she used the image of the deer peeking around the snowman at the bunny from the Festive Fawns Stamp Set. How adorable is that!?

Hello my name is Tina, I have a Blog called Cards and Coffee Time:) I love to bake and love card making. Me and the hubs own small Bakery & Cafe that keeps me pretty busy, to relax I plant myself in my craft room and create cards. Whether it's a cupcake, a handmade craft or a card, creating something beautiful that can be enjoyed and given as a gift makes me smile.

Here's what Tina created!

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week - Day 2 - Tina Smith | Frosty Folks Stamp Set and Purr-fect Present Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
Tina created a set of gorgeous projects today featuring gorgeous ink blends and two fun stamp sets. The pink and yellow blends bring an unexpected and beautiful twist to the winter and holiday projects!

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week - Day 2 - Tina Smith | Card using Ink Blends and Frosty Folks Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnook #handmade
For the winter card she used the image of the sweet group of Snowmen from our Frosty Folks Stamp Set. She colored the hats, scarves and vests on the snowmen in such fun bright pastels. Then she layered them over that lovely inked background, adding in a hill for them too. She also added the snowflakes and sentiment onto the sky, embossed in white! So pretty!

Next she created this sweet duo of tags using that cute kitty popping out of a gift from our Purr-Fect Present Stamp Set. It's so cute how she added little stripes around the faces of both the orange and gray kitties! Then she added the sentiment, also from the Purr-Fect Present Stamp Set, embossed in white and colored in the little holly on the bottom!

Here's a video by Tina showing you how she created these amazing projects:

This sweet holiday card by Tenia would be perfect for any dog lover on your list! She used the image with a duo of puppies donned in Christmas accessories from our Happy Howl-idays Stamp Set. She colored the pups in shades of gray, adding fun bits of texture to their fur! So charming! She then added the sentiment in front of them, also from the Happy Howl-idays Stamp Set, embossed on a little banner. Behind them she features a background of softly inked trees using our Evergreen Stencil. She adds in a layer of ground behind the doggies with  some cork and sewn on threads!
